It is the late 1980s and a recent MIT graduate (Topher Grace) is disgruntled with life after college since he finds himself working at a local mall, his best friend (Dan Fogler) has just lost his job and his twin sister (Anna Faris) is marrying her selfish boyfriend (Chris Pratt). On several occasions we see men and women kissing passionately in the background, including a young woman and a young man kissing while lying down; the young man is on top of the young woman and her legs are wrapped around his waist (they are fully clothed). Young men and women kiss one another on the cheek in greeting.
► A young man tells another young man that he had sex with a woman. A young man shouts while standing up in a moving car that another young man had sex. A young woman and a young man discuss how they had sex, and a young woman accuses a young man of using her for sex. A young man teases another young man about having had sex. A young woman and a young man discuss the young woman's cleavage and breasts; the young woman instructs the young man to look at her breasts and he does so three times. A young woman tells a young man that another man is only interested in her for her breasts, and that he has seen the breasts of her friend. A young man makes a crude remark about a woman's appearance. A young man asks a young woman if she had missed her period, implying that she is pregnant. During the throes of intercourse, a young man tells a woman he will "kill her."

VIOLENCE/GORE 4 - A young man is seated inside a large metal ball, a man drives the ball up a hill in the bed of a truck, the ball rolls out of the truck and crashes down a long hill, hitting cars as it goes and it falls off a small cliff and sinks into a pool; we see the young man inside the ball panicking and then vomiting on himself (vomit is seen coming from his mouth, flying upwards and covering his face), he struggles to get out of the metal ball and surfaces in the pool, and we see a small cut above his eyebrow and a bruise on his forehead.
► A young man shoves another young man, he stumbles into a table and then kicks the young man in the crotch, a third young man leaps in and they wrestle, and another young man breaks up the fight; moments later the first young man kicks the second young man in the crotch a second time and runs away. A young man punches another young man in the crotch and the young man winces in pain. A young man violently grabs a young woman by the waist and attempts to perform the Heimlich maneuver on her; she shouts and he drops her, unharmed. A young man tackles another young man, pushing him into a swimming pool; they are both unharmed. Two men playfully wrestle one another. A young man stumbles but is unharmed.
► Two male police officers arrest two young men (one of the young men is one of the police officer's sons), and the young men cry as one of the police officers bashes in the windshield, hood, and side mirror of a car they say the two young men had stolen; the two young men are seen handcuffed as the officers say they will be going to jail with child molesters. A young man drives a car off a road, it spins around in grass and then backs up and crashes over a small hill; the passenger and driver are unharmed.
► A young man in a wheelchair tells another young man that he had been injured in a car accident when a drunk driver hit his car. A young man shouts, panicked, as an alarm sounds in a building, he steals a car and quickly drives away. During the throes of intercourse, a young man tells a woman he will "kill her." A young man jokes that he could throw his drink on a young woman and then throw her into a wall. A man shouts at a woman driving a car. A young man shouts at another young man. A young man shouts dramatically over the phone, it is implied that he is angry but he is joking. A young man says his brain feels like "snot."
► Several people watch as a young woman chokes, she coughs and then spits something into the air; she is later seen unharmed. A young man spits profusely as he cries, spittle is seen coming from his mouth and a small amount of mucus appears to come from his nose and drip down his mouth.
► A young man accidentally pushes over a rack of CDs, it creates a domino effect and multiple racks crash to the ground; no one is injured. A young man throws a duffle bag at a door. A young man kicks a guitar another young man is holding and it breaks.
