Snow White SEX/NUDITY 1
– A man approaches a teen girl lying motionless on a boulder, touches her hand and kisses her tenderly; she revives, they kiss and embrace. A man and a teen girl sing about having feelings for each other, they move close and sing about a kiss, he touches her face tenderly and they then walk holding hands, and touching their foreheads together; they do not kiss when they realize many people are watching them. A man kisses a woman’s hand.
► A woman appears to captivate a man with her beauty, he kisses her hand and they marry (we hear that she possesses powers). A man and a teen girl touch hands and gaze into each other’s eyes lovingly. A man tells a teen girl that a man saved her life and has romantic feelings for her; she is surprised. A woman dips an apple in a potion and says that the antidote is “true love’s kiss.” We hear that a husband and his wife wished for a child and their daughter was born in a carriage in a driving snowstorm.
► People dance in celebration in several scenes.
► A teen girl wears a low-cut dress that reveals cleavage in several scenes. A woman wears tight-fitting dresses that accentuate her figure throughout the movie. Several dwarves change their clothing after mining and we see them wearing full-length long johns.
Snow White VIOLENCE/GORE 4
– A guard shoots a crossbow at a teen girl and a man jumps in the way of the arrow and is struck in the shoulder (we see a bit of blood and the arrow protruding from his body); he is treated later and recovers. A man holds a knife to a teen girl’s throat and prepares to kill her, and then yells for her to leave and run away; she runs through a dark forest as tree limbs and vines grab her dress and one tree rises up with what resembles a large mouth with sharp teeth and she tumbles into a hole that drops her into a body of water but swims to land and she sees glowing eyes in the shadows that move toward her (she is not harmed). Guards shoot arrows at people in a forest and they hide; they fight later with swords and spears (no one appears to be harmed).
► A woman orders a man to kill a teen girl and bring her the girl’s heart in a box. A woman gives an apple to a teen girl and when she takes a bite of it, she becomes woozy and collapses to the ground motionless; she is shown lying on a boulder where dwarves and animals cry and grieve over her. Many guards turn their weapons on a woman after she orders them to kill a teen girl; a crowd of people gathers to face off with the guards, and the woman hands the teen a dagger made of crystal and tells her to use it on her, but she does not and the woman tells the guards to kill the teen and make the people watch. A woman tries to stab a teen girl and she is struck in the hand with an arrow shot from a crossbow; the woman thrashes and disintegrates into dust.
► A large mirror with a face that speaks in a deep voice creates swirls of dark billowing smoke when it is called upon by a woman to declare who is the fairest of them all; the woman becomes enraged when it says that there is someone other than her that is the fairest. A woman orders guards to throw a man in the dungeon, they force him to his knees, they pull him by the arms and move around him holding spears; we see him chained in the dungeon later. Many armed guards walk through a forest searching for a teen girl; a man is caught in a rope trap, lifted off the ground, and later held in front of a woman that pulls a necklace off his neck and orders him to the dungeon where we see him chained later. Two men break the chains that hold them in a dungeon and escape.
► A man is brought to the queen by guards and they are told to take him to the dungeon; when a teen girl protests, he is tied to the gates of the palace without a coat or shoes in order to freeze. A man steals food from the palace food stores and guards call out to seal the doors when they realize there is an intruder. A dwarf’s beard smolders when a cinder floats out of a lantern; he tamps it out and we see a little char but he is unharmed. A dwarf nearly falls off a cliff and another pulls him to safety; we see treacherous pointed rocks or growths on the ground below. A man grabs a teen girl and hides behind a tree when guards ride through a forest searching for her.
► A woman mixes a potion and drinks it and we see her as she transforms into an old woman with wrinkled flesh, gnarled fingers, and discolored nails; we hear creaking and stretching. We see a skeleton in a dungeon cell and a man uses one of its finger bones to pick a lock on his shackles. A vulture soars through the air and snaps at a small bird pulling one of its feathers off as it flies away.
► A man leaves with palace guards when we hear someone is trying to seize power and he does not return. We hear that a woman became ill and died when her child was very young and she and her father were heartbroken. A young girl is forced to become a servant in the palace and kept from leaving; a woman cuts the child’s long braid with a large pair of shears. We hear that a woman steals the riches of the kingdom for herself. Several dwarves march carrying picks and shovels to a mine where they dig valuable stones out of the ground. A dwarf asks if a teen girl is in trouble with the law. A woman tells a teen girl that a man has been captured by the queen.
► Several dwarves panic when they see a lump under their blankets on their beds and yell when the teen girl sleeping under the blankets screams when she sees them, gets up and speaks to them; they run out of the cabin and one remains behind but hides, quivering. A dwarf hits his own thumb with a hammer, throws the hammer and it hits another dwarf in the head; a food fight ensues and dishes are broken, tables are tipped over and food is splattered all around. A dwarf threatens to “shove it where the sun don’t shine.” A man teases a teen girl and says that she has “princess problems.” A man pulls a necklace off a teen girl’s neck seemingly to steal it, but he returns it to her. A dwarf says of a man when he revives, “I thought he was dead.”
► Several dwarves laugh at another dwarf and he leaves feeling sad. Several dwarves are knocked down by buckets carried on a pole across the shoulders of a dwarf; several of them fall and are piled up on a conveyor belt. Several dwarves ride in mining carts along winding tracks through dark caves. A dwarf calls another dwarf narcoleptic.
