Also with Penn Badgley, Amanda Bynes, Dan Byrd, Thomas Haden Church, Patricia Clarkson, Cam Gigandet, Malcolm McDowell, Stanley Tucci, Fred Armisen and Lisa Kudrow. Directed by Will Gluck. [1:32]

SEX/NUDITY 7 - A teenage girl and a teenage boy walk into a bedroom with the purpose of fooling a crowd of teenage boys and girls listening at the door into thinking that they are having sex: The teenage girl removes her panties (we do not see any nudity since she is wearing a dress and slides them down her legs) as the boy winces and she makes a remark about his sexuality; they jump on the bed as she instructs him to moan sexually, she slaps him and hits him on the bottom with a book making him shout, she hands him her panties and tells him to keep them for "evidence," and after leaving the room the teenagers outside high-five the teenage boy and give the teenage girl suggestive looks.
A woman's bare breast (covered slightly by her long hairstyle) hits a teenage girl in the face, and the woman lingers with her bare breast on the teenage girl's face for some time. It is implied that a teenage girl is fully nude, as she is seen in the shower from the shoulders-up. A teenage girl wearing a corset, short shorts and fishnet tights dances suggestively with a teenage boy, ripping off the costume he is wearing to expose his bare chest in front of a crowd of people. A teenage girl wears a very low-cut top, which exposes her bra, and then does a suggestive shake of her breasts (we see her back as she does it) after another teenage girl discusses their size. Teenage girls wear cleavage-exposing tops, including a teenage girl who on multiple occasions wears a lingerie corset without wearing a shirt to cover her cleavage. A man is seen without a shirt while at a picnic with a woman and two teenage girls (his bare back and portion of his chest are visible). Teenage boys are seen shirtless (their bare chests are visible) while they swim in a pool and sit in a hot tub. A teenage boy's bare chest is seen multiple times covered in blue paint as part of a costume.
It is implied that a teenage boy gives a teenage girl a sex toy: we see a baton-shaped item wrapped in paper and hear a vibration noise after the teenage girl reads the suggestive card that came with the gift.
A teenage boy kisses a teenage girl, the teenage girl pushes the boy away but he continues trying to push himself on her, attempting to kiss her again; the girl pushes the boy away, he offers her a gift certificate in exchange for sex and she shoves him and runs away. A man and a woman kiss, the man grabs the woman's behind twice and she pushes his hand away.
A teenage girl runs into a teenage boy's arms, he lifts her up and she wraps her legs around his waist and they kiss. A teenage girl wraps her arms around a teenage boy's waist as they drive on a lawn mower. A teenage girl and a teenage boy hug, he asks her if they can kiss, and she says no, but promises they will kiss at a different time.
A mother tells a teenage girl that she had sex with a large number of men and implies that she had sex with women as well, when she was younger; she demonstrates an acrobatic "move" and lifts her leg in the air as the teenage girl squirms and tells her to be quiet.
Throughout the movie, a teenage girl speaks frankly about an imaginary sexual relationship she is having with multiple teenage boys, including describing in detail the different levels of the non-existent sexual encounters: having sex with a young man, allowing a teenage boy to "feel her up," a teenage boy asks a teenage girl if he can tell people he had touched her breasts and she agrees, and after a man tells a young man he has an STI, he says he had contracted it from a teenage girl. A teenage girl discusses with teenage boys various proposed sexual interactions, which includes a teenage boy using multiple slang phrases for sexual positions (they are not explained).

A teenage girl says that a group of teenage boys and girls are saying that she is having sex for money. A group of teenage boys and girls leer at a teenage girl and hold signs with crude language that accuse her of having sex with multiple people. A teenage girl describes a story about a woman in Puritan times, who had been persecuted after being accused of adultery. A teenage girl and a gay teenage boy discuss his sexuality and she says that he is not interested in having intercourse with her, saying she has a "v" where he wants a "p." We hear a voiceover of a teenage girl saying that another teenage girl is allowed to throw large parties after she caught her parents "doing it" in the pool. A teenage girl is heard in a voiceover saying an entire school was discussing her "promiscuity" and discusses the size of her breasts. On multiple occasions a man and a woman jokingly discuss with their teenage daughter her sexual activity, and both joke that they "know" the teen is not having intercourse since her boyfriend is gay. A woman gives a teenage girl a handful of what are implied to be condoms and the woman remarks about the teenage girl being on birth control, saying it does not always work (she jokes about asking some of her friend's parents). A teenage girl tells a teenage boy about how foods have not been scientifically proven to be "aphrodisiacs," that men have been known to consume powdered rhinoceros horn to increase genital size and that Spanish Fly has been known to cause "painful discharge." A woman tells a teenage girl that she has been engaged in a sexual relationship with a young man (he is over 18), despite being married, has contracted an STI from him and has not had sex with her husband in months. A teenage girl tells a man that a woman is involved in a sexual relationship with a young man and has contracted an STI. A young man that had been identified as having an STI is seen grabbing his crotch. A teenage girl has a discussion with her mother and father (a boy is present as well) about not having an STI; the mother says that the teenage girl has been dressing like a "stripper" lately and the father jokes that she is only allowed to "be a stripper" if it is for politicians or athletes. A mother remarks that her teen daughter, who's been wearing corsets as shirts, has been "dressing like a prostitute." A man remarks to a teenage girl that his job is to, "keep girls off the pole and boys off the pipe." A boy and a girl sit on a bed and discuss how they are not going to kiss, despite being told to have "seven minutes in heaven" (it is not explained what that involves), but will tell people they had kissed; a teenage boy and a teenage girl discuss how as children they had told people they had kissed. A teenage girl remarks that she preferred it when a teenage boy's costume involved him being shirtless, and another teenage girl remarks that she "fantasizes" about the teenage boy wearing a woodchuck costume. CAVEATS

Be aware that while we do our best to avoid spoilers it is impossible to disguise all details and some may reveal crucial plot elements.

We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and older reviews are not as complete & accurate as recent ones; we plan to revisit and correct older reviews as resources and time permits.

Our ratings and reviews are based on the theatrically-released versions of films; on video there are often Unrated, Special, Director's Cut or Extended versions, (usually accurately labelled but sometimes mislabeled) released that contain additional content, which we did not review.
