The MPAA rating has been assigned for “strong sexual content, graphic nudity, some strong violence, and language.” The Kids-In-Mind.com evaluation includes several sex scenes between men and women and two women including nudity, a murder by traffic accident, a stabbing and several shootings as well as a couple of fights, discussions of child abuse, discussions of manipulation and coercion, and at least 26 F-words and other strong language. When several unexplained deaths occur in a small town, a private investigator (Margaret Qualley) finds a connection with a church and its unusual and controlling preacher (Chris Evans). Also with Aubrey Plaza, Lera Abova, Jacnier, Gabby Beans, Talia Ryder, Charlie Day and Kristen Connolly. Directed by Ethan Coen. A few lines of dialogue are spoken in Spanish with English subtitles. Honey Don’t! SEX/NUDITY 8

 – Two women kiss passionately in bed and one woman is shown with her head between the legs of the other as she moans. A man performs oral sex on a woman (we see her bare breasts, abdomen and the man’s head between her legs); he then thrusts and both moan. A man (we see his bare chest and abdomen) thrusts from behind as a young woman holds a mirror so that he can see her breasts (we see her back and partial bare breast). Two women have sex and one woman screams loudly as she climaxes (we see their bare breasts and abdomen and one woman has a nipple piercing).
 Two women sit at a bar and one puts the other’s hand in her lap; we see slight movement suggesting that the one woman is stimulating the other woman and they each breathe rapidly and leave the bar together. Two women wearing leather and chain outfits (we see bare breasts, abdomens, buttocks and legs) writhe on top of a man (we see his bare chest and abdomen) until they are interrupted by a man with a gun entering the room (please see the Violence/Gore category for more details). Two women lie in bed talking, they kiss and one lies on top of the other (sex is implied). Two men argue about a drug deal and one offers to perform oral sex on the other instead of a payment and kneels on the ground in front of the man (please see the Violence/Gore category for more details).
 A woman washes sex aids using a dish brush after a sexual encounter with another woman (we see phalluses and a string of beads).
 A woman in a car flirts with a woman on a moped at a stoplight. A man asks a woman why she won’t see him socially in several scenes and she explains that she likes women. A young boy asks a woman (his aunt) if she will marry him and the woman explains all the reasons why that can’t happen. People discuss menstruation when a teen girl reveals blood-soaked bed sheets. A man is asked if he slept with a woman, he says no, and that she was “too positive.” A woman says that she prefers an inanimate object for sex because it doesn’t “Have a creep attached to it.” A remark is made about sex offenders.
 A fully nude woman swims in a pond (we see bare breasts, abdomen, genital area and legs). A man dresses in front of another man and we see him wearing only a jockstrap (his bare chest, abdomen, partial buttocks and legs to the hips are seen). A woman wears a bra top that reveals cleavage, bare abdomen and back along with skin-tight pants. A woman wears a swimsuit that reveals her bare shoulders and cleavage and legs to the hips. A woman finds a church robe with a leather and chain outfit underneath it. Clothing is scattered around a room and we see two women in bed (sex is implied) and we see one woman seated on the edge of the bed as the other awakens (bare backs, shoulders and partial bare breasts are visible).

Honey Don’t! VIOLENCE/GORE 7

 – Two men argue about a drug deal and one offers to perform oral sex on the other instead of a payment (please see the Sex/Nudity category for more details); the second man pushes the man away, punches him in the face (he falls back with a very bloody nose), then reverses his car into the injured man and speeds away dragging the man alongside the car and slamming him into a cement light post (blood splatters). A young man finds his grandmother dead with a slash on her throat bleeding heavily; the killer tries to stab the young man and the young man slams his head in a drawer repeatedly, slams a hot iron into his face (blood sprays) and stabs him in the chest (we see blood); the injured man retrieves a couple of bloody teeth from the floor, draws a gun, shoots the young man, and the young man shoots the man several times as the scene ends.
 A young man with a gun enters a room where two women and a man are having sex (please see the Sex/Nudity category for more details) and he shoots three holes in the mattress; the shooter is then struck in the head from behind and shot (below the frame). Two women argue and one hits the other on the arm with a hammer (we see a bruise) and stabs her in the abdomen; the wounded woman hits the attacker in the face with a hot kettle and then presses it against her arm (we see reddened and blistered flesh) before she is shot in the chest and the head (we see bloody bullet holes). A woman hits a man in the head, breaks one of his fingers (we hear a crunch) and she holds a shotgun to his face (we see his very bloody face), and then smashes the gun against cinder blocks to break it before speeding away in her car.
 An overturned car is seen at the bottom of a hill and the driver is shown dead with blood dripping from wounds. A dead body is shown under a tarp at a crash scene. A man describes another man foaming at the mouth and dying in a car; we see the dead man later as another man tries to revive him (we see goo on the dead man’s mouth) and it is implied that the man overdosed. We hear a gunshot and it is implied that a man has been shot and killed.
 A man argues with another man and calls him names. A teen girl is shown with a bruised eye and a bloody gash on her head and we are told that her boyfriend beat her up. A teen girl sees an elderly man at a bus stop and is frightened when he stands up and tells her that he loves her; she runs away. A woman talks about her father beating her when she was a child. A man asks a woman to investigate his boyfriend and he fears that he is being unfaithful. A bird flutters through a room and crashes into a window twice before falling out of sight behind a sofa. A woman asks another woman about having more children when she has numerous already. A man preaches that the Pharisees were macaroni (that they did nothing). A man asks a woman if she drinks and she replies that she drinks heavily and that it is a point of pride.
 Opening credits contain jittering camera movements and places us in a car as it drives off a ledge. A woman covers a MAGA bumper sticker on a man’s car with an “I have a vagina and I vote” sticker.

Honey Don’t! LANGUAGE 7
