The MPAA rating has been assigned for “language, nudity and brief sexuality.” The Kids-In-Mind.com evaluation includes a sex scene with partial nudity, an implied sex scene with partial nudity, a few kissing and hugging scenes, non-sexual partial nudity, an armed man robbing a restaurant and a toy store with one injury, a man being arrested by armed police, a prison escape, a building set on fire, a man hiding out for an extended period of time, several arguments and at least 16 F-words and other strong language. Based on the true story of a man (Channing Tatum), who was arrested and sentenced to 45 years in prison for robbery and kidnapping. His powers of observation enable him to try to escape and start a new life, while hiding in a nearby toy store. Roofman SEX/NUDITY 6

 – A woman invites a man to her place for “some fun” and we see them in bed with the man thrusting on top of the woman (we see his bare back and partial buttocks, and her shoulders and cleavage). A man and woman lie in bed together; the woman wears a negligee that reveals her bare breast and nipple.
 A man and a woman kiss, and two teen girls tease them by making kissing sounds and rubbing their hands on their backs and shoulders (mimicking people kissing). A man and a woman hug in a prison visitation room. A man and a woman hug awkwardly.
 A teen girl confronts her mother about a new man in their lives and says, “I hope the sex is worth it” in front of others, embarrassing her mother. A woman asks a man out on a date. A man flirts with several women around a table in a restaurant at a singles dinner. A man watches a woman singing in a church service and smiles at her. A woman leads a man into a church holding his arm and later leads him into a restaurant. A man makes thrusting gestures toward an inflatable T-Rex in a toy store. A T-shirt logo reads “Sex Wax.” A woman asks a man if he is gay and he is shocked. A woman describes her husband as being in horrible shape.
 A man bathes in a toy store restroom and runs out when he hears another man in the store; we see the man fully nude from the back as he runs away (we see his bare back, buttocks, legs and partial genitals between his legs). A man bathes in a store restroom and we see his bare shoulders, chest, abdomen and back, as he lathers his body and dances in front of a mirror. Several women wearing bikinis are seen on the TV news and we see cleavage, bare shoulders, abdomens and legs to the hips. A woman wears a low-cut sweater that reveals cleavage. A woman wears a low-cut top that reveals cleavage and part of her bare abdomen. A shirtless man climbs down a ladder and we see his bare back, chest, abdomen and partial buttocks cleavage.

Roofman VIOLENCE/GORE 5

 – A man pours gasoline around a dental office and sets the building on fire to destroy records. An armed man wearing police gear and a balaclava enters a toy store when an armored car driver enters to pick up the contents of the safe; the armed man hits the driver in the head when he reaches for his gun (we see him unconscious on the floor with a puddle of blood on the floor under him) and has several employees lie on the floor and zip-tie their hands behind their backs; he takes one man to the office to open the safe and the dye pack sprays him in the face causing him to scream. A man with a gun and wearing a balaclava talks to restaurant staff and tells them to get into a walk-in freezer, which they do. A man hammers a hole in the ceiling of a shop thinking it’s a pawn shop; he realizes he has broken into the wrong shop and breaks through the wall to access the pawn shop setting off the alarms, he breaks a display case to steal a gun and uses a large statue to break the front window out to get away as the alarms blare. A man hammers on the rooftop of a fast food restaurant and opens a hole that he climbs through.
 Armed police surround a man and push him to his knees where he is handcuffed and arrested. A man opens his garage door and several armed police officers approach him and tell him he’s under arrest; he runs, jumping over fences and through yards, until he is tackled and tumbles down a hill where he is handcuffed, as his young daughter watches. A man becomes angry, punches toys and hits them with a baseball bat.
 A man hides in the restroom of a toy store and climbs into the ceiling to avoid police. A man peers at his young daughter from a distance but cannot approach because there are police officers outside. A police cruiser pulls into a drive-through as a man is inside robbing the restaurant (he runs away). We hear news reports of a prisoner escape and references are made to the man being armed and having violent behavior. We hear news reports of a serial robber. A man is sentenced to 45 years in prison for armed robbery and felony kidnapping. We read that a man attempted to escape from prison two more times after being caught, after his first escape. A man devises a plan to break out of prison and rides underneath a delivery truck to get away. A man climbs down out of the ceiling of a toy store bathroom at night and tests the security cameras. A man bathes in a toy store restroom (please see the Sex/Nudity category for more details) and hears another man in the store; the bathing man rushes through the store collecting items to hide from the other man and the second man sees him and yells and rings the alarm for police to come. A man pawns video games in several scenes and we hear that they are valued at $10,000. A man test drives a car and speeds over hills and slams on the brakes scaring the salesperson and the other people in the car. A man prepares fake IDs for another man.
 A man sets up a hiding place in a toy store with bedding and walks through the store at night taking food and bathing in the restroom. A woman tells a man over the phone that if he calls again she will call the police. A man tries to talk to his young daughter over the phone from prison and her mother tells her to hang up and that they have to cut the cord. A man is embarrassed when his young daughter wants a bike for her birthday and she is disappointed when he gives her an erector set. A man talks about having a superpower. A man gives a preteen girl and a teen girl gifts hoping to make them like him; the teen girl declines the gifts and walks out of the room, embarrassing her mother.
 A man is dismissive and rude to staff in a toy store in several scenes; he mocks one young man and makes fun of his weight. A woman asks her boss for time off to be with her children and he is dismissive of her request. A woman and her teenage daughter argue in several scenes.
 A man and a preteen girl play pillow fights. A man urinates on the side of a road and we see and hear the stream. A man pretends to vomit and wretches a couple of times.
