A woman wears a towel wrapped around her after a shower and we see her bare shoulders and cleavage. A woman wears an oversized T-shirt that reveals her bare legs to the upper thighs and invites a man to come to bed; he declines.
Together VIOLENCE/GORE 7
– Two dogs in a search party enter a hole in the ground and drink from a pool of water; we hear them whimpering and snuffling and later see them standing in a forest staring at each other and very still; we hear unnatural sounds coming from a barn where they are kept and a man goes to find out what’s happening and finds the dogs covered with blood and seemingly conjoined. A man cuts a woman’s arm and blood pours from the open wound. A man holds a knife to his throat and says that he will end it all, a woman tells him to stop and she collapses from blood loss from a knife wound on her arm (we see her recovered later). A man and a woman kiss passionately and hold each other closely (please see the Sex/Nudity category for more details) as they begin to transform and meld into each other (we see their tongues and lips sticking together, their hands and arms move under each other’s skin, their eyes and eyelashes blend together and they moan as their skin stretches and gurgles.
► A man says that he smells something and follows the smell to a ceiling lamp that he removes and pulls something out that falls to the floor and we see that it is several dead rats and one that squeals and seems to be barely alive. A man describes finding his parents in their room and that his mother was sitting up grinning unnaturally, as his father lay dead next to her (we see the man’s decaying flesh and open eyes).
► A woman tapes a man into a chair and we see that their arms have become attached; she pours whiskey in his mouth and uses a saw to cut their arms apart (we see blood and tissue) and they both scream. A man and a woman have sex in a school’s bathroom stall (please see the Sex/Nudity category for more details) and after they climax, they are unable to separate from each other (please see the Violence/Gore category for more details) and they moan in pain and are humiliated when a young boy brings a teacher to show him what is going on (we see some blood on the woman’s thigh). A sleeping man wakes up as he is pulled along the floor toward a woman in another room who is also pulled across the floor and we see their bodies bending unnaturally; the two touch hands and we see something moving under the skin as if they are joining together (we hear cracking), and something moves under the skin on the man’s abdomen as they decide to take muscle relaxants to stop their transformation (we see the man fall unconscious). A man and a woman hike in an unfamiliar place and get lost; it begins to rain and the man falls into a hole in the ground, the woman tries to help him out and they both fall in and cannot get out; they drink water from a pool and when they wake up in the morning the flesh on their legs is attached and when they pull their legs apart, they yell in pain and we see sticky strands of goo and open wounds. A woman slams into a closed glass door and startles a man out of his chair (we see blood on her face through the glass); we see them each lifted off the floor and vibrating uncontrollably and when the man opens the door the woman falls onto him and he cannot wake her up until he slaps her in the face and she is startled awake (we see blood on her nose). A woman wakes up when she thinks her partner, sleeping next to her, is lying on her hair, she turns on the light to see the man with hair in his mouth and he gasps and gags as they try to pull her hair out of his mouth (we see a wad of hair on the bed and a strand of hair in his teeth in the morning). A drop of a woman’s blood on a table moves across the table toward a man standing near it.
► A man imagines his partner telling him in bed that she can’t sleep with “them watching us” and he imagines people at the end of the bed watching them sleep; he lifts the covers to see a face with discolored flesh and glowing eyes moving toward him and he wakes with a start. A man wakes up in a cave and hyperventilates; the sound of his breathing sounds like a monster inside the cave (it’s deep and rumbling) and the walls seem to be expanding and deflating as he breathes; when he turns toward his partner sleeping next to him, she gasps for breath (he wakes up; it was a nightmare). We see a video of a wedding ceremony and the two partners undergo a ceremony where their arms are slashed and they join together.
► A man showers and seems to have a seizure that causes him to slam into the walls of the shower and the glass panes, eventually pressing his head into the tile, cracking it and collapsing to the shower floor (we see blood on his face). A man hyperventilates when he is left at a train station and cannot get on the train; we see him stumbling along a road and cars honk at him. A man in a cave is knocked down by something that seems to grab his leg and his arms are stuck to the floor; a being moves toward him and we see human forms joined together, the man slashes them with a knife and pulls himself out of the cave.
