An irreverent, raunchy look at policing with detective Frank Drebin (Liam Neeson) leading an investigation into what could be murder. Also with Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, Danny Huston, CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand, Liza Koshy, Eddie Yu, Michael Beasley and Moses Jones. Directed by Akiva Schaffer. [Running Time: 1:25]
The Naked Gun SEX/NUDITY 5
– A man uses night-vision goggles to look through the curtains in a man’s apartment and what he sees resembles a woman performing oral sex on a man (she’s actually cleaning an oven), resembles a man ejaculating (he’s actually using a turkey baster), and resembles a man sodomizing a dog while the dog’s head is between the woman’s legs (he’s actually scratching the dog’s back). We see the silhouette of what looks like a woman wearing a tight-fitting dress seated on a desk, as suggestive music plays; when the door is opened we see that the woman is on the other side of the room and the silhouette was of a hat and coat rack.
► A man and a woman perform a spell and a snowman comes to life: the snowman lies in bed between the man and the woman (the woman wears a negligee that reveals cleavage), the man and the woman kiss in bed and the man pushes the snowman away (please see the Violence/Gore category for more details). A man and a woman kiss in a few scenes. A man and a woman embrace.
► A man tells another man about what will happen to him in prison in sexually suggestive terms. A man and a woman make suggestive comments about cooking a turkey. A man describes a woman as being put together in all the right places and that she has a bottom that would make a toilet “Beg for the brown.” A man describes a woman as having hips that “You want to put a hula-hoop on and spin.” A man talks about “The kind of dressing down you pay for.” A man remarks about having been breastfed until he was 13. A man talks about opening himself up to love again. A man sings a love song to a woman.
► A seemingly nude man (we see his bare chest, abdomen and partial lower legs) stands behind a machine that illuminates his body with red light and we are told that it is a device that increases testosterone levels (we see steam billowing around his abdomen); another man does the same thing later. A man’s pants are pulled off as he is lowered into a crowded arena (we see his genitals pixelated and his bare legs) and a sportscaster describes his genitals making references to sausages. A young girl carrying a lollipop enters a bank during an armed robbery and she transforms into a man wearing a short skirt (we see his bare legs to the thighs and his underwear with a glimpse of what could be pubic hair when he lifts his leg to rest it on a chair). Women wear low-cut dresses in a couple of scenes (we see cleavage). People wear swimsuits in a swimming pool scene (cleavage, bare abdomens, backs and legs are seen).
The Naked Gun VIOLENCE/GORE 5
– A young girl carrying a lollipop enters a bank during an armed robbery and she transforms into a man wearing a short skirt and fights many bank robbers: he stabs one with a sharpened lollipop stick, throws it at another stabbing him, throws one that slams into others knocking them down like bowling pins, holds his fingers in the shape of a gun and pretends to shoot causing one man to fall to the floor, and several gunmen shoot each other and fall to the floor (no blood is seen). A man steps in a puddle of blood on a floor, picks up a blood-stained knife and finds a dead body that he picks up and his head is cut off by a spinning ceiling fan blade (we see the head missing and blood splatter on the ceiling); the man drops the headless body and jumps out a window when armed police enter the room.
► A device beeps and we hear people screaming as they fight each other: we see punches, throws, kicks, people riding on motorcycles fall off them and crash, several people surround and attack a man and he retaliates with kicks and he hits them with the cartridges from their guns and punches several men in the crotch. An owl carries a man through the air and the man kicks people off motorcycles, decapitating one man (no blood is shown). A man fights with numerous people and rips the arms off one man and uses the severed limbs to beat him up (we see torn fabric on the sleeves but no flesh or blood). A man beats up a security guard and enters a private area that he was guarding. A man fights several people in a wrestling ring. A man opens a door hitting another man and pushing him over a railing. A woman holds a gun on a man and pulls the trigger (it is not loaded); the man then finds other guns on her and pulls a shotgun out from under a wig she is wearing. A man engages rockets on his arms and when he is lifted off the ground, he crashes into a street lamp shattering it and falling back to the ground in a stupor.
► Police and SWAT teams surround a bank where a robbery is in progress; robbers inside the bank fire automatic weapons and gas canisters as customers and staff screams and take cover, and an explosive device is used to open a safety deposit box in a bank vault. Many armed guards rush toward a room as alarms blare. A man sneaks into a secured room and falls down stairs causing security guards to arm themselves. After a man pushes a snowman away when it makes advances toward him and a woman, the snowman chases them through a cabin with a gun and a woman cuts its head off with a sword (we see the head separate). A man is trapped inside a car controlled by another man and she shoots the windshield out; the car careens down the road nearly hitting people carrying balloons, crates filled with bees and a replacement windshield that all end up in and on the car and the man eventually jumps out of the car and rolls on the ground (seemingly unharmed). A sedative gas is sprayed into a car and a man falls unconscious. A woman is shown bound and gagged.
► A man at a bar tells another man, “You shot my brother,” the other man slams his head against the bar a few times and his appearance changes each time. Two men prepare to fight and one punches the other in the stomach causing him to moan and complain that he is going to “barf.” A man is struck in the head by an automatic car door opening and his hand is crushed when the same door closes on him. A man falls asleep at the wheel of an electric car and the car drives off the street and along a sidewalk crashing into construction barriers before being able to wake the driver. A car pulls three charging stations and a wall mount out when it drives away and leaves a hole in the wall where prison inmates jump through and run away. A man drives his car through a police barricade at a car accident site. A man drives his car and hits someone in the road (we see the person thrown against the windshield and then roll off the roof and trunk and this happens a couple of times, we do not see injuries). An overturned car is picked up by a claw (like the claw game) and dropped again. A man puts his coat on a tray of champagne glasses and spills them to the floor. A woman walks into a pillar and drops a glass of champagne. A man borrows another man’s cell phone and snaps it in half when he finishes the call; he later does the same thing with a landline handset. A man punches the screen shattering it as the end credits begin. A man and a woman in bed with a snowman squirt red syrup on the snowman’s hands and eat it like a snow cone.
► A man discusses a device that will reset people’s brains making them animalistic and then create a new era with those that survive. A police chief yells at two detectives and reprimands them for their actions; she threatens to do away with their division. A man asks if a driver was drunk causing a crash that killed him and a man replies, “A little.” Two men quote song lyrics that include a derogatory term. A detective interrogates a man about his charges for “man’s laughter.” An ad appears on an arena that reads “Ponzi-Scheme.com.” The slogan on a police cruiser reads, “To warm and serve” as an officer carries delivery food bags across the scene. People ask a man, “Who are you,” and, “Who the heck are you?” A man talks about his wife being deceased. Several police officers kneel in front of photos of deceased officers and cry.
► An owl defecates on a man’s helmet visor while he is riding a motorcycle causing him to crash into a fountain (we see goo). A man eats a chili dog and we hear him flatulating as his stomach rumbles when he pulls a driver over for a traffic stop; the driver reveals that he has a gun in his glove compartment, but the other man runs away fearing that he needs a bathroom; the man goes to a convenience store and shoots into the ceiling in order to get access to the bathroom. A man eats a chili dog in his car and we hear his stomach rumble and he flatulates as he says that he is about to ruin another suit. We see an ad for a product called “muscle slime” and green goo is smeared on a man’s arm.
