Oscar-winning romantic comedy about a widow (Cher) living with her large Italian-American family in Brooklyn, New York: approaching middle-age and having given up on falling in love again, she unenthusiastically agrees to marry her longtime boyfriend (Danny Aiello) but she then unexpectedly finds herself falling deeply in love with his estranged brother (Nicolas Cage). Also with Vincent Gardenia, Olympia Dukakis, Julie Bovasso, John Mahoney, Louis Guss, Feodor Chaliapin Jr. and Anita Gillette. Directed by Norman Jewison. A few lines of dialogue are spoken in Italian without translation. [Running Time: 1:42]

Moonstruck SEX/NUDITY 5

 – A man throws over a table and grabs a woman seated on the other side and they kiss passionately; he then picks her up and tells her he is taking her to his bed where they lie together, kiss, and they briefly thrust and moan (both are clothed and we only see their shoulders and faces) and we see them in bed together later (the woman gets out of bed and wraps herself in a blanket that reveals her bare shoulders and back and the man is shirtless with his bare back and chest shown).
 A man gets out of bed where his wife is sleeping and talks about a moon; they talk about their love and he moves back to the bed as she laughs and sex is implied. A man kisses a woman’s hand in a few scenes. A married woman kisses a man on the cheek and he kisses her on the cheek.
 On two occasions a middle-aged university professor goes on dates with two different and much younger female students. A man proposes marriage to a woman and she accepts after she convinces him to get on his knee and ask again and provide her with a ring. A married man has dinner with a woman, he speaks flirtatiously to her and gives her a gift of jewelry. A couple of men on a sidewalk whistle at a woman as she walks by. A man tells a woman that he wants her in his bed. A husband and his wife argue in a liquor store about how he looks at a woman. A woman tells her adult daughter that she suspects her husband is having an affair and that when he comes to bed he won’t touch her. A woman confesses to having been unfaithful to her fiancé with his brother. A woman asks why men chase women in a few scenes.
 A man wears a tank T-shirt. A woman wears a very low-cut sweater that reveals cleavage. A woman undresses and we see her wearing a full slip (cleavage is seen). A woman wears a strapless dress that reveals her bare shoulders and cleavage.

Moonstruck VIOLENCE/GORE 2

 - A woman watches a plane leave a gate at an airport and another woman tells her that she put a curse on the plane to make it crash and kill a woman on board. A young woman throws a glass of wine on an older man when they argue in a restaurant (this happens in two scenes with two different women). A woman slaps a man hard across the face twice after he says he loves her. A man describes an accident that caused his hand to be severed in a bread-slicer and that that caused him to lose his bride and that he blames his brother for the mishap.
 A body is shown in an open casket in a funeral home and the undertaker talks about how good he is at making dead bodies look good. A man scratches his head aggressively (apparently from being nervous). A man throws over a table and grabs a woman (please see the Sex/Nudity category for more details). Several men gather in a cemetery and talk (a few dogs appear to have dug up flowers on a fresh grave).
 A man and a woman argue about setting a wedding date. A husband and his wife argue in a liquor store about how he looks at a woman. A woman tells a man not to order fish at a restaurant because he will be green and his hands will be sweaty during a plane flight. A man and a woman argue and break off their engagement. A man talks about another man's inability to, "control his woman." A woman talks about her first husband dying after being hit by a bus. A man says that his mother is dying. A man talks about bad blood between him and his brother. A man says he can't sleep because, "It's too much like death." A woman wakes up and asks, "Who's dead?" Two women argue. A man calls a woman and says, "I'm calling from the deathbed of my mother," and we see an elderly woman in a bed in the distance. A man and a woman argue on the telephone and they end up yelling at each other. A man says that another man, "Took my life from me." A woman tells a man that he is a wolf and talks about him, "Chewing off his own foot." A woman says to a man, "You could lose your whole head." A woman says, "I'm gonna kick you 'til you're dead," to an elderly man.
