A man with angel wings sits in the backseat of cars and taps on the drivers’ shoulders when they are about to have an accident while texting and driving; the vehicles stop short of hitting other cars or pedestrians. A man hyperventilates and collapses at a party; people ask if he is dead (he is not). An angel’s boss removes his wings when he breaks the rules and he is later let go; he must then live a regular human life.
A man with a set of angel wings and standing on a roof and highway overpass watches people as they move through life; one man seems in a desperate state about his life and feeling like a failure. Several angels are gathered on a roof and we see that they have specialties, like accident prevention, and one talks about hoping that he showed a man that his life was worth living. A man shows another man that he has a gun in a safe in his home and shows him the combination.

A man asks an angel if he can fly and the angel says that he can’t because his wings are too small; the man says, “It’s not the size of the wings” and the angel says, “Actually, it is.” After being fired, an angel feels hungry for the first time but is nervous about chewing and swallowing food, and complains about sweating. A taco on a plate folds in half and levitates off the plate.

CAVEATS

Be aware that while we do our best to avoid spoilers it is impossible to disguise all details and some may reveal crucial plot elements.

We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and older reviews are not as complete & accurate as recent ones; we plan to revisit and correct older reviews as resources and time permits.

Our ratings and reviews are based on the theatrically-released versions of films; on video there are often Unrated, Special, Director's Cut or Extended versions, (usually accurately labelled but sometimes mislabeled) released that contain additional content, which we did not review.
