[Running Time: 1:37]
A Quiet Place Part II SEX/NUDITY 1
– A woman wears a low-cut dress that reveals cleavage through most of the movie.
A Quiet Place Part II VIOLENCE/GORE 6
– Alien creatures hunt humans by sound: they are humanoid-insectoid, about eight feet tall with scaly flesh, long arms that have pointed claws and their legs look like grasshopper legs with hoof-like feet; they have slimy eyes, hundreds of huge sharp teeth, and plates around their heads and faces that open up and we hear the aliens growling, roaring, shrieking, and click-chattering.
► A teen boy runs and steps in a trap that clamps on his lower leg; he screams in pain and screams more when the trap is released (we see a lot of blood and an open wound in a few scenes), an infant cries and a teen girl plays a loud sound on a speaker that causes a charging alien creature pain and a woman shoots it in the head with a shotgun (we see blood and splatter). A man and a teen girl look for a boat on a pier, they find a young girl and when the man approaches her, she wraps a rope around his neck attached to noisemakers and the man cannot move or he will attract alien creatures; other people surround the man and the teen girl and take their belongings before the girl dives into the water and the man grabs one of the men, and stabs him in the leg causing him to scream and attract a creature that attacks him (we see blood in water when the first man falls in and tries to free himself from the rope around his neck); a creature jumps in the water after the man and the man gets away. A woman shoots a gun in an abandoned warehouse, a creature charges toward her and she shoots an oxygen tank causing it to burst into flames that consume the creature; it walks through and toward the woman and she shoots it in the head (blood splatters).
► A teen girl stabs a creature with a metal pole then pulls the pole out spraying blood on her face. A teen boy shoots a creature in the head and he is splattered with blood. A teen girl walks alone along train tracks and climbs into an abandoned train car; she sees decayed bodies inside the train and falls back on the floor when a body falls over toward her; an alien creature approaches her, she plays a loud sound from a speaker that distracts the creature and tries to shoot it, but misses and can’t reload; the creature is shot from behind just before it attacks the girl (blood splatters). Two men and a teen girl enter an abandoned building and one of the men is grabbed and pulled back out by an alien creature (we hear him screaming off-screen).
► A creature prowls outside a tavern and we hear its low growl; a phone inside the tavern rings and the creature crashes through the window attacking people inside (we see them being thrown like rag dolls), chases a man and a teen girl out the back and through an alley where a police officer shoots at it with no effect and the creature attacks the officer (we do not see the attack). A creature crashes to the ground in front of a car and the driver swerves and speeds away and then speeds in reverse to avoid an oncoming, out of control bus; the car crashes into a light pole and we see a passenger with a bloody head wound. A man runs through an area calling for people to get inside, we see creatures running through the area throwing people and killing them without visible gore, and another man puts two children in a closet and speeds away in a car while honking to make the alien creatures chase him; one creature jumps on the convertible top and tears through it nearly grabbing a teen girl in the backseat, it slips down the back of the car and lunges back into the car with a large mouth of pointed teeth before falling off the car. A man and a teen girl hide in a building and the man attracts the attention of a creature that attacks him (we see his bloody leg). A creature moves toward a woman from behind and she runs into a container, the creature attacks the woman and grabs her leg (we see some blood) and the woman screams and then slams the door closed.
► A man stops three people running from alien creatures and they run through an abandoned building together, they slide down a chute and land on a pile of sandbags; they then close themselves in a soundproof containment tank. A woman moves through an opening in a chain-link fence and catches part of her backpack causing a clanging noise, she catches her foot on a trip wire that releases empty bottles attached to a cable that fall next to her making a loud noise and she and her two teen children run to avoid screeching creatures. A teen boy walks through an abandoned warehouse and finds the decayed body of a woman; he jumps and makes noise alerting alien creatures that chase him and he accidentally locks himself and an infant into a container that has limited air (we see him unconscious from lack of oxygen later, but he revives). People look at a flaming ball that moves through the sky in the distance and run for their cars and homes; a man steps into the street and a car swerves and honks as people rush to safety and a creature crashes into the road flipping over a car.
► An infant is placed in a padded box with an oxygen mask over its face to keep its cries from being heard by the alien creatures in several scenes. Two teens, an infant and their mother leave their home and pass a flaming barn. A teen boy presses his hands over his ears and trembles as his infant sibling cries in his lap; a woman holds a shotgun and tells him it’s time to go. A teen boy flinches when a baseball is pitched close to him at the plate. A woman walks through a flooded building and down stairs that have a nail sticking up on one and a severed creature claw on another. A teen girl wakes up, realizes that her hearing aid is gone, and panics thinking that she has been betrayed.
► A teen boy and a teen girl argue about the girl leaving to find other survivors alone. A man and a teen girl argue about the man taking her home. A man talks about the death of his child and wife. A man says that the people that have survived an alien invasion are, “Not the kind of people worth saving.” A man talks about the day of an alien invasion and that boats were lined up to take people to safety but only two boats got away. We hear a news report about an apparent bombing in Shanghai and that the death toll is immeasurable. Eerie music accompanies opening credits.
► A teen boy’s injured leg is shown and a woman says that it didn’t reach the bone; she pours vodka on it to help disinfect the wound and the boy screams. A woman and two teens walk barefoot and we see their bandaged and bloody feet in several scenes. We see the decaying remains of an alien creature in the basement of a house.
