Documentary about three men, Eddy Galland, David Kellman and Robert Shafran, triplets separated at birth, who discovered each other entirely by accident in 1980. They became a media sensation and opened a restaurant together, but also uncovered the disturbing circumstances of their separation and subsequent tragic repercussions.  - A man describes another man's suicide and that when he arrived on the scene, the police told him, "You don't want to see that." A man describes his adopted son's suicide. We hear that a man's adoptive father died. Two men talk about banging their heads against walls and the side of their cribs, or holding their breath until they passed out when they were young. We hear that people were angry when they found out that their adopted children were triplets that were separated by the adoption agency. Two men talk about being tested and filmed on several occasions when they were young. We hear that three infants were separated at 6 months of age and adopted to different families, none of whom knew about the others. A man talks about going 100MPH on a two lane highway and being pulled over by police. A woman describes three young men as "Running amok." A man talks a about another mean being in a psychiatric ward, and that he also spent time in a psychiatric ward. A man talks about his birth mother drinking heavily. A man talks about a teenage wrecking a car. A man talks about being a strict disciplinarian.
