When a woman (Kristen Bell) returns home to meet her older brother's fiancée (Odette Yustman), she realizes the woman was her biggest tormentor in high school and all her feelings of insecurity and self-doubt come rushing back. Meanwhile, her mother (Jamie Lee Curtis) is experiencing a similar reunion with one her own high school classmates (Sigourney Weaver). SEX/NUDITY 3 - Men and women kids briefly -- including a middle-aged woman and a middle-aged man, and a young woman and a young man. A man and a woman are seen on multiple occasions with their arms around one another, touching one each other's faces, and rubbing noses together.
► Two middle-aged women dance suggestively with different men. Two young women dance suggestively while a group of people watch. An older woman kicks her leg up and a young woman shields her eyes and jokingly reprimands her (we do not see any nudity, but it is implied).
► A man makes a speech in front of a group of people, saying that a young woman would "make a sound" when they cuddled (implying a sexual sound). A young woman talks about a rumor that implied that another young woman had dated one of her teachers when she was a teenager. An older woman makes multiple references to trying to date younger men; we hear her say "cougar" (no explanation is heard), she gives her phone number to a man, and tells a young woman that if she does not go after a young man, she will do so. An older woman makes what is implied to be a sexual joke when a waiter asks if she would like an "amuse bouche."
► Women wear form-fitting dresses. Young women and teenage girls are seen wearing torso-exposing crop tops.

VIOLENCE/GORE 3 - We see flashbacks on multiple occasions, including a group of people watching a video, of a teenage girl punching a mascot alligator in the head, and then shoving it to the ground. A middle-age woman grabs another middle-age woman, they struggle for a moment while shouting at each other, and they fall into a swimming pool.
► A young woman throws plates at another young woman, who ducks to miss them; she slips and stumbles to the ground as she tries to run away, the first young woman throws a glass at her head, and she smashes it with a frying pan and pours a tureen of soup over the other young woman's head.
► A teenage girl shoves another teenage girl. A teenage girl shoves another teenage girl into a swimming pool. We see a flashback on multiple occasions where a group of teenagers carry a teenage girl over their shoulders, shove her through the doors of a building and lock the door behind her.
► A teenage girl accidentally kicks another teenage girl in the mouth when she high kicks during a cheer (she falls to the ground). A middle-age woman jumps from a trampoline and while flying through the air, accidentally hits a young woman in the face, knocking her to the ground, and crashes into a middle-age man, knocking him to the ground (they are seen moments later unharmed).
► A young woman accidentally slams the top of her head into a young man's mouth, and the young man later says he is OK. A young woman accidentally slams her head on the back of an airplane seat and then on the overhead storage bin when standing up. A teenage girl accidentally tips a tray of food onto the chest of a teenage boy; he is covered in food but unharmed.
► A man and a young woman fall from a tree house when the bolts pull apart, they crash to the ground and are later seen in hospital beds; we hear that the young woman has a broken arm and the man has a broken leg (we see them in casts) but they will recover soon. A young woman gets her foot caught in a rope ladder she is climbing down, and she flips over and hangs from the ladder (she is unharmed). A middle-age woman is hit in the face with a stream of water after kicking a water pipe out from under a sink. A young woman falls off a path while running, we hear a shriek and later see her covered in mud and we hear that she fell into an anthill (she is later seen with small scabs on her arms/face).
► A group of boys surround a sleeping young woman who shrieks when she wakes up. A young woman jumps after a man surprises her. A young woman falls to the ground and grabs her leg, crying in pain (she reveals later that she is faking).
► A man shouts at two young women. An older man raises his voice while speaking to a middle-age woman and a young woman. A young woman mentions on multiple occasions that her parents had died (she does not say how). A teenage girl tells another teenage girl that she was prettier with a mask on. A man tells a group of people about how a young woman had been hit in the face with an octopus when she was younger. A young woman jokes that an older man with a blindfold on is going to be executed. A boy jokingly asks a young woman, who's describing her work with a suicide hotline, for the phone number.
► An older woman pulls out her dentures and places them in a young woman's hand. A teenage girl picks at food stuck in her braces.
LANGUAGE 2 - Exclamations (shut up, gosh, be quiet), name-calling (loser, poster child for geek squad, Satan's spawn, emotional terrorist, low self esteem, gold-digger, two scoops of crazy with a side of co-co-ca-chu, four-eyed acne covered girl, freak, liar, phony, insane, dummy).
SUBSTANCE USE - An older woman makes an off-handed comment that she could give a young woman "something" that will make her "taste sunshine." Adult men and women drink alcoholic beverages at a party.
DISCUSSION TOPICS - Bullying in high school, friendships lost, enemies, holding a grudge, making a new start, coming-of-age, bullies as "emotional terrorists," TSA agents, divorce, maintaining old friendships, calling off a wedding, keeping secrets from loved ones, reliving the past, Grease, prom, revenge, sabotaging someone's wedding.
