A woman wears a gray suit with a skirt slit up the leg to mid-thigh. A woman's bare thighs are shown briefly while putting on a pair of trousers. During a school wrestling class, two dozen teenage boys wear skintight gym trousers and spandex tops.
► A man says to a woman, "Utilitarian is the new sexy" in reference to folded dinner napkins. A sign above a bar entrance says "Jugs and Blokes."
VIOLENCE/GORE 7 - There are numerous scenes with beatings, car crashes, martial arts fights, automatic weapons battles, assassination attempts and nuclear attacks; we see several people being shot (some scenes show some blood) and in additional scenes several people point handguns at one another.
► A man enters an elevator and uses a knife in the sole of his shoe to cut two men in the legs as he kicks and punches them; then he grabs one of their guns and shoots them both in the head (we see some blood on their legs and we see two bodies in body bags removed later).
► A woman slashes the throat of a man using a broken vodka bottle (we see a bloody gush and the bloody bottle rolling away on the floor).
► We hear that a man is kidnapped and we later see him shot in the heart by his captives in front of his wife (a close-up shows a thick, wide stream of blood that has gushed from his mouth onto the floor).
► A woman, dragged from a solitary confinement cell, suffers a beating with fists several times (her face is very bloody and her eyes are black and blue): she is force-fed huge amounts of water through a metal tube and then nearly drowned with more water poured into her nose and mouth and she cries out several times; we later see her with her left eye swollen shut and blackened, her wrists wrapped in gauze and slightly bloodied and a scratched and bruised cheek).
► A woman finds an ammunition room on a river barge and she gathers handguns, automatic rifles, and hand grenades; she blows up the lower level of the ship with the grenades, kills 11 men using handguns and one with an automatic rifle and we later hear that the police found all 12 floating in the river.
► A man tells a woman, "Tonight you will kill America's president," they enter a White House function, the man grabs a gun from a Secret Service agent and begins shooting people while smiling and shouting, "I'm going home!"; then he ignites a handheld bomb and a hallway explodes in smoke and flame (he is presumably killed but we do not see this, while and the president is rushed to a basement bunker by several agents).
► A prolonged fight sequence in the White House involves a woman and dozens of agents exchanging gunfire, fighting with martial arts moves and launching small bombs: The woman shoots agents in the hallways (we see smoke and hear groans, and a little blood is evident), forces open elevator doors, jumps into the shaft, climbs through and shoots and kills more guards (we see significant amounts of blood).
► A woman is chased by armed SWAT officers through a building, she makes a bomb out of cleaning supplies and a table leg and fires the bomb to knock down several of them; she then grabs two guns and fires through windows to escape to the street, where other officers and agents give chase.
► A woman is chased through traffic by armed SWAT officers, she knocks a man down, steals a motorcycle, goes home and the SWAT officers fire into her apartment, throw a smoke bomb, enter the apartment, and shoot out windows; the woman climbs ledges outside and escapes, runs through heavy traffic, is cornered by police with drawn guns, rolls over the side of a bridge onto a semi truck and then a smaller delivery truck, which hits another vehicle and she rolls to the street and runs.
► A woman rides a subway, drops a smoke bomb, steps out in the confusion, she knocks outs or kills four subway guards and five or six secret service men, breaks glass windows in the hallways of the subway and runs through the train tunnel under a church where a funeral is occurring; she shoots out organ bellows in the church basement, sets off a bomb to clear the sanctuary and open the podium floor, and a man falls through (the man lands in rubble and she shoots him with a tranquilizer dart, although the police believe he is dead).
► Inside a bunker, two men arm a nuclear weapons dashboard for launch, one man in the bunker pulls his handgun and shoots and kills several people (we see no blood) and orders the first man to launch nuclear warheads on certain nations; he refuses, so the man knocks him out.
► A woman in custody in a moving vehicle headbutts two guards, grabs a gun, kills one in the front seat and strangles the driver (there's no blood); she then uses an electronic device to drive the vehicle into several other vehicles and to cause an additional 8 cars to crash into one another, drives over a bridge, lands on top of three cabs in a parking area, and then walks away.
► A woman and a man fight with martial arts moves and with slamming each other's heads on a desk (the woman's face becomes very bloody and he receives a bloody cut over his left eye); she is shot from behind, but she has a bulletproof vest.

Be aware that while we do our best to avoid spoilers it is impossible to disguise all details and some may reveal crucial plot elements.
We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and older reviews are not as complete & accurate as recent ones; we plan to revisit and correct older reviews as resources and time permits.
Our ratings and reviews are based on the theatrically-released versions of films; on video there are often Unrated, Special, Director's Cut or Extended versions, (usually accurately labelled but sometimes mislabeled) released that contain additional content, which we did not review.
