Cabin Fever | 2003 | R | - 6.10.10
A group of college students takes off for a vacation in a secluded log cabin in the woods, with plans for a lot of drinking and sex. Not long after they arrive a very sick, delirious man covered in bloody sores knocks on their door pleading for help but he's chased away after being set on fire. But contact has been made and soon one of them seems to have contracted whatever their visitor had. Uncontrollable paranoia and terror ensue and the friends turn on each other. With Jordan Ladd, James DeBello, Rider Strong, Joey Kern and Cerina Vincent. Directed by Eli Roth. [1:34]
SEX/NUDITY 6 - A man and a woman have sex: we see the woman thrusting on top of the man (we see her bare breasts and his bare chest). A man and a woman nuzzle and kiss in bed, they take each other's tops off (the man is bare-chested and the woman is in a bra), then we see them thrusting and the woman's bare breasts, she climbs on top of him from the back and he moans loudly. A man caresses a sleeping woman's face, touches her clothed chest, reaches under the sheets -- presumably between her legs -- the woman moans and we hear squishing sounds. A woman lies nude in bed and a man peers through a window at her (we see her bare back and buttocks). A woman caresses a man's leg and they kiss. A man and a woman lie together in swimsuits and kiss, a man and a woman snuggle in bed together, and a man and a woman lie in bed together. A man talks about masturbating with his dog's involvement, a woman talks about masturbating with a shower massage.
VIOLENCE/GORE 10 - A man tells a story and we see a re-enactment of a man murdering many people: the people are bound and gagged, the man smashes the backs of their heads in with a hammer, then hacks off their limbs with an ax (we see a severed leg being used to bowl with and a severed head bobbing in a bowling ball return). We see an unconscious woman's face and the skin appears to be pulling away from her skeleton (we see her jaw bone and teeth), and a man beats her to death with a shovel (he is splattered with blood). A man is shot repeatedly (we see bloody holes in his clothes), a man shoots a man and a man shoots another man. A man shoves a screwdriver in a man's ear, a man spears a man in the back, and a man shoots a dog. A man stumbles over half a dead body (the other half is shredded and decomposing). People attack a man with bats and BB guns, the man vomits blood all over a car, he is sprayed with bug spray, and is set on fire and runs off through the woods. A dog chases a woman, we hear crunching and tearing and see pieces of her body strewn around later, and see the dog licking at a blood-covered mattress next to an unconscious woman. A man reaches beneath a sheet, touches a woman's legs, pulls his hand out and it is covered with blood. A woman shaves her legs and as she removes the shaving cream uncovers huge bloody patches on her legs. A man finds a decomposing body in water, he pokes at it with a stick, it turns over to reveal a mangled face, and the man falls into the water, on top of the body and flails around trying to reach a ladder. A man in a car drives into a deer, that crashes through the windshield, and the man is sprayed with its blood; the deer kicks its hooves, the man shoots the deer and it falls off and onto the road. A man vomits blood on another person who then vomits on another, and so on, and so on. Some other repulsive scenes include: A woman's face is covered with red sores, a woman has bloody scratches on her back, a man's neck bleeds, a man coughs and spits blood and we see red sores on his stomach, a woman walks and we hear squishing sounds, a woman vomits blood, and a man vomits blood. Men with guns chase a man. A man threatens another man with a gun. A man carries a dead rabbit and comes upon a dog lying on the ground; when the man lifts the dog's leg we see that he is open from his throat to his back legs (the man is sprayed with blood and we see lots of blood and goo on the dog). A pig hangs from its feet, a woman begins slashing and stabbing it, we hear it squealing and see blood pouring from it, and the woman pulls out a handful of bloody intestines. We see a man with bloody patches on his skin and a man shoots him with a BB gun. A decomposing body floats in water with flies buzzing around it. A boy bites a man on the hand, another man comes toward the boy with a bat and grabs him by the neck, and a boy bites another man's hand. A dead man covered with blood lies on a floor, a nearby bathtub is covered with blood and the walls are sprayed with blood. A man hits a man with a guitar, a man hits a man on the head with a bat, a man whistles when he breathes because his harmonica was knocked down his throat. A pile of dead bodies is set on fire. A man yells violently at a group of people, and people yell at each other in several scenes. A man startles a group of people around a campfire. A dog growls and tears at a door and a man shoots a gun in the air to scare it away. A dog barks and growls aggressively at people and a man holds a gun on it. A woman is locked in a shed. A man urinates and we see the stream.
