► A man asks two young women how they feel about polygamy. A man wonders if it makes sense that “God hates gays for what he made them.” A young woman talks about another young woman having a birth control implant. A young woman talks about the marketing of condoms and their sizes. A young woman describes the size of her sister’s ex-husband’s genitals being “frighteningly big.”
► Several young women ask another young woman if they can take a picture with her; they pose and one young woman pulls down the other young woman’s skirt revealing her underwear (it looks like long johns) and they laugh about her “magic underwear.”
Heretic VIOLENCE/GORE 6
– A young woman’s throat is slashed and blood pours from the wound and she stumbles and collapses on the floor; another young woman runs up a flight of stairs and pounds on the door crying for help. A man is stabbed in the throat with a letter opener and we see a lot of blood pour from the wound as he gasps and more blood pours from the wound when he pulls the letter opener out of the wound. A young woman is stabbed in the abdomen with a box cutter and we see blood on her shirt; she falls to the floor and pulls herself to a wall where a man rests on top of her holding the blade to her throat. A man is struck hard in the back of the head with a plank of wood that has nails in it (we see blood on his head and face after he falls to the floor motionless). A door creaks open and a woman covered with a cloak enters carrying a pie; she has bloodied fingers and feet and when she eats a bite of the pie, she wheezes and sputters and collapses hard onto the pie, dead from poison; two young women check for a pulse and are frightened when the woman gurgles (a catalytic spasm).
► A man uses a box cutter to open part of a young woman’s arm and pokes his fingers around under her skin (we see blood and a vein) and he removes a small piece of metal that he says is some kind of control device. A woman gurgles and spits out something (could be blood or blueberry pie) and talks about having a near-death experience. A man insists that a young woman that died will rise again, and that she will be resurrected. A young woman climbs down a ladder that leads to a dark passage where we see a dead body lying in a puddle of water, she walks through several doors and finds a room where several women are shown locked in cages. A man cuts a woman’s fingernails with a pair of shears and cuts one of her fingers off (we see the severed digit on the floor).
► Two women walk through a door and down stairs that lead to a dark basement with another door; one young woman stands on a table to try to reach a window to escape, but cannot reach it. Two young women try to open a door of a house but it is locked, they struggle with the handle but it won’t budge and when they ask a man to help, he says that the lock is on a timer and will not open until morning. A young woman tries to call for help and cannot get through. A young woman puts a letter opener in another young woman’s hand and tells her to use it to stab a man as hard and fast as she can. Two young women scream repeatedly when someone rings the doorbell and asks a man if he has seen them.
► A heavy snowstorm blows outside a house and the power goes out. Two young women are startled when the power goes out in a house. Two young women are startled when they walk through a dark hallway and see what looks like a person in the shadows (it’s a statue). A young woman is startled by a large spider that crawls out of a pipe toward her.
► A man tells a young woman that what he is going to tell her will make her feel sick, and that it might make her want to die. A man asks if a young woman has had any signs of her father since he died and if he has been able to communicate with her “from the other side.” A man asks two young women if he can ask them an awkward, insensitive, icky question. A young woman says that people think they are weird. A young woman talks about finding proof that the church is real. A man talks about legitimizing and rationalizing beliefs. A man says, “God hates gays for what he made them.” A young woman refers to a prayer experiment and that it proved that prayer doesn’t work.
