Deep Water SEX/NUDITY 7
– A husband and his wife lie back in bed and have sex: he kisses her bare buttocks and thrusts as they both moan. A woman bent forward at the waist moans as a man (not her husband) thrusts from behind. A woman asks her husband while he is driving if he wants to have sex with another woman, and if he thinks she would be better at sex than she is; the woman leans into his lap, unfastens his pants and apparently performs oral sex on him (off screen) but bites him twice and he flinches and complains that she will cause them to get into an accident. A husband and his wife have sex and he thrusts as they moan and breathe heavily. A woman in a passenger seat of a car lifts her skirt to reveal her bare thighs, and she touches herself between her legs as a man driving watches; she leans over to touch him, he seems to moan and the scene cuts to the next morning when she arrives home after being out all night (please see the Violence/Gore category for more details); the woman describes sex acts in graphic detail when her husband asks if she had sex with the man she was with, and she puts her husband’s fingers in her mouth suggestively.
► People dance at a party and a woman rubs her hand on her husband’s clothed crotch. A married woman and a man that is not her husband embrace and kiss in a few scenes.
► A woman tells her husband that another man, who’s at their home for dinner, was the first American she had sex with; she then says that the man broke up with her. A man and a woman flirt playfully in a swimming pool as the woman’s husband watches them. A man and a woman dance together in front of her husband; the woman goes upstairs and the man follows her as she giggles and her husband watches and seems jealous and sees her lower her dress (we see her bare back and shoulders). A man looks for his wife in a house and sees her leaving a room followed by a man and they are both wearing swimsuits; the husband scowls. A woman hugs a young man and guides him by the hand through a party while her husband looks on and seems jealous; he later sees the two kissing and scowls. A man watches as his wife and a younger man dance together in their home and we hear the woman moan and giggle. A married man and another man’s wife dance and he dips her deeply. A wife kisses her husband on the cheek.
► A woman at a party talks to a man and says that she’s got a lot of cleavage action going on (her dress is deeply cut) and the man acknowledges that. A woman asks a man if his wife is having sex with a younger man and warns him that she will make him look foolish. Men tell another man that he should “rein in” his wife and that she is flaunting her extramarital relationships all over town.
► A woman lies on a bed topless (we see her bare breasts and abdomen) while her husband puts cream on her legs and she rolls over to reveal her bare back and underwear. A woman unfastens her dress and lowers the top (we see her bare back and breasts) while preparing coffee in the kitchen and her husband is alarmed because their babysitter witnesses the act. A woman wears low-cut tops and dresses in many scenes throughout the movie (we see cleavage, bare back and shoulders). Women in several party scenes wear low-cut dresses that reveal cleavage. A woman wears a deeply cut halter top (we see her bare back to the waist, cleavage and shoulders). Men and women wear swimsuits at a pool party (women’s cleavage, bare backs, abdomens, legs to the buttocks, and men’s bare chests and abdomens are seen). A woman wears a low-cut sweater that reveals cleavage while sitting in a restaurant with a man not her husband. A woman wears a knit dress that reveals her nipples and the outline of her buttocks through the fabric. A woman sits in a bathtub shaving her legs (we see her bare legs to the mid-thighs; she sits up and we see her from the back as she presumably shaves her pubic hair (we hear the blade dragging on flesh and see her bare back to the hips). A woman’s nipples are visible through the fabric of a tank top. While a woman dresses, she puts on stocking and we see her bare legs to the hips and her husband caresses her calf and ankle while helping her put on her shoes. A man undresses on his front porch to a T-shirt and bike shorts while his wife watches (we see his bare legs to the mid-thighs).
Deep Water VIOLENCE/GORE 6
– A man speeds in a car on a rough road through woods making his passenger nervous, and then slams on the brakes; the two men get out of the car and one man throws a rock hitting the other man in the head (we see a bloody gash), he throws another rock and the first man tumbles down a steep incline toward a river and lies dead with blood gushing from his head; the first man drags the dead man into the water and weights his body with large rocks. A man holds another man underwater in a swimming pool; the other man thrashes and struggles and the scene ends (the man drowned). A woman screams and pounds on a glass door when she sees a dead man floating in a swimming pool; several men jump into the pool to retrieve the man, they pull him to the deck and attempt to do CPR, they lift him up, drop him on the cement knocking his head hard, the woman screams that they are not helping him and a man hits her in the face (we see the body in a body bag later). A man finds a dead man in a body of water and tries to push him deeper so as not be seen; another man sees him, realizes what he is doing and runs away to his car, and speeds away while being chased by the other man on a bicycle; the man in the car speeds and swerves, tries to text on his phone, drops the phone, the man on the bicycle crashes onto the road in front of the car and the car swerves off the road, over a ledge and crashes into a creek below (presumably killing the driver).
► A man talks to a younger man and seems to be threatening him when he says that he murdered a man that was a friend of his wife’s, using a hammer; the young man seems nervous and leaves. People joke about a man having killed another man. We hear a news report of a man’s body being found with a bullet wound. Police question people at a party about a dead man in a swimming pool and a woman yells that her husband killed him. A woman hits her husband while he drives.
► A woman describes having sex with another man to her husband (please see the Sex/Nudity category for more details) and says, “He left a bruise. Do you want to see?” Several scenes show men introducing themselves to a man and talk about their “friendship” with his wife. A woman stumbles and holds on to her husband as they leave a party; she is inebriated. A woman hugs a young man and guides him by the hand through a party while her husband looks on and seems jealous; he later sees the two kissing and scowls.
► A young girl tells her father that she thinks he killed a man and asks him how he did it; she tells him that all the kids at school are talking about it and ask her how he did it (she seems unconcerned). A woman yells at her young daughter for playing a nursery rhyme song that annoys her. People tell a man that his wife is drunk and standing on the piano at a party; we see her step down off the piano. People talk about the ethics of drone warfare.
