SEX/NUDITY 5 - A man and a woman kiss, he pushes her back onto a sofa, lifts her skirt, she stops him, they kiss, she wraps her legs around him, and he thrusts and moans.
► A man and a woman (apparently not married to each other) go to a hotel room, they kiss, and the man leaves the room and when he returns she leaves. A man kisses a woman's clothed abdomen (she is pregnant).
► A woman remembers unpleasant things about her relationship with her father when she was young (she does not speak about some of the memories although it is implied that there may have been sexual abuse). A woman talks about her father having sex with a woman (not her mother) in their house while she and her younger sister were sleeping.
► A man tells a woman (his ex-wife) that he stimulates himself while thinking of her. A man and a woman meet in a grocery store, they appear to have had a history together, and although they are both married to other people they talk about always thinking about each other. A woman asks another woman if she was having sex ("you have that glow") when she arrived at her house.
► A man talks about his wife becoming pregnant before they were ready and that they "had it taken care of" (by having an abortion). A man tells a woman that he is sterile.
► A woman wears a low-cut top that reveals cleavage, and a woman wears a low-cut dress that reveals cleavage.
VIOLENCE/GORE 4 - A woman holds a gun to her head, then points it at a man in the room, then puts the gun in her mouth, and then takes it out (the scene ends with no shot being fired).
► A woman talks about having a dream about her breast being cut off (she is preparing for surgery to remove her breasts due to cancer), that the breast floats out to sea and birds peck at it.
► A prison inmate becomes enraged, she yells and gets very close to a guard, he and another guard restrain her and force her away from a visitors' area, she is released and goes back to the visitors' area, but she becomes angry again and is then forcibly taken away once more. Guards wrestle a prison inmate to the ground.
► A woman remembers unpleasant things about her relationship with her father when she was young (she does not speak about them although it is implied that there may have been sexual abuse).
► A woman watches as another woman is arrested and put into a police car. A female prison inmate in handcuffs threatens another as she walks past her. A woman knocks a drink out of a man's hand and onto the floor breaking the glass.
► People gather and grieve at a funeral and we see a woman's body in a coffin. A mother and daughter walk through a cemetery and talk about death. A woman talks about her mother and father arguing bitterly.
► A girl urinates behind a tree (nothing is shown).
LANGUAGE 6 - 19 F-words and its derivatives, 20 scatological terms (2 mild), 6 anatomical terms (1 in Spanish), 2 mild obscenities, 6 religious exclamations.
SUBSTANCE USE - A man and a woman drink alcohol, and four people drink champagne. A man smokes a cigarette.
DISCUSSION TOPICS - Relationships, life choices, breast cancer, natural selection, lack of conscience, infidelity, suicide, regret, destiny, fate, abortion, sterility, estranged families, claustrophobia.
