A woman tells another woman that she had been suspended from seeing her "man" in prison because a corrections officer had caught them kissing; the woman jokes that she and the man had "really been going at it" before being caught. A woman tells her adult sister that she is searching for a "daddy" for her son. A woman tells her adult sister that she is wearing a short dress to make big tips at a restaurant, joking that the name of the restaurant is "Concubines" and she then makes a racial joke about working at a place called "Mammys."

VIOLENCE/GORE 3 - We see police officers and SWAT team members enter a house with their guns drawn; they grab a man and a woman and throw them on the ground, handcuffing them while the woman screams and cries and the man tries to calm her.
► An older woman shouts at her two adult daughters, she taps her own head angrily and pounds her fists on a table. A man shouts at a woman and she walks away. A husband whispers sternly at his wife after she asks him about a scar. A husband whisper-shouts at his wife. A man tells a woman that her husband had been involved in a fight while in prison and that he had been held in the medical ward for 48 hours; he also says that the man was being charged with "assault and inciting a riot" after injuring two men and a corrections officer. At a parole hearing, we hear a man describe that a male prisoner had attacked a group of inmates using a pipe, adding that he had seen video footage. We hear a man's voiceover explaining that he had been in a prison fight (it is implied that a woman is reading a letter written by her husband). A woman tells her mother that she would have been "smacked upside the head" if she had made a backhanded remark as a child. A woman tells a man that her husband is currently in prison for running guns.
