The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course | 2002 | PG | - 1.3.2
Steve Irwin (of Animal Planet's "The Crocodile Hunter") and his wife spend a busy day saving animals across the Australian countryside, but the biggest job of the day is when they must transplant a cranky crocodile to another river in order to keep him from being killed by poachers. It turns out that the poachers are CIA agents in search of a piece of a satellite that plummeted to earth, and which ended up as a croc snack. Also with Terri Irwin, Bindi Sue Irwin, David Wenham and Magda Szubanski. [1:29]
SEX/NUDITY 1 - A woman wears tight-fitting outfits that reveal her bare abdomen, cleavage and thighs. A man pats a woman's buttock. Two men admire a woman as she approaches them. A man makes comments about wild creatures finding "good looking Sheilas."
VIOLENCE/GORE 3 - A dead kangaroo lies on a road and her orphaned baby is in the grass nearby. A crocodile bites a man's hand in the end credits reel, which shows a man in many other dangerous situations with wild animals. A woman dangles a chicken from a rope as bait for a crocodile; the crocodile snaps it up, the woman falls from her perch on a tree limb, dangles from a rope where the crocodile snaps at her legs, she falls into the water, scrambles to get back to shore, the crocodile follows, the woman tries to shoot at it, the crocodile snaps and growls at the woman and the woman faints. A crocodile lunges from the water at a man on shore, snapping its jaws and snarling; the man dodges the crocodile and runs and the crocodile follows. A crocodile jumps at a man on a boat repeatedly, the man wraps the crocodile's jaw with a rope and the crocodile takes off pulling the boat with him, and the man is yanked into the water and dragged under by the rope. A poisonous spider crawls onto a woman's face, she swishes it off and it smacks into the windshield of her car (it was apparently not fatally injured). A man cuts the ropes off the jaws of a crocodile and when it is free it snaps and snarls. A man jumps on a crocodile's back, and the crocodile rams the man's head into a boat. A man shoots a gun in the air, a car rams into the back of another car, two men have a fistfight on the roof of a car, one man falls off the car and is dragged by a rope along a dirt road, he lets go when threatened with a snake and is nearly hit by the car following. A man reaches his hand into a spider's hole and pulls out a dead spider that has been cannibalized (it's missing parts of its legs). A man has many encounters with dangerous wild animals; he holds two large, poisonous snakes by the tail and they wriggle trying to bite him, he taunts a poisonous spider in order for us to get a better view of its fangs, he chases a lizard into a small cave, he wrestles a crocodile and then is pulled along (and under) a river by another crocodile. When the man wrestles the crocodile he jumps on it in the water and in the dark, holds on tight as it thrashes and snaps its jaws, wraps ropes around its mouth and shoves it into a boat (the man has a bit of blood on his leg). A plane drops sticks of dynamite at a boat in the water below and the explosion sends the occupants sailing out of the boat and into the water. A man wraps a rope around the wheel of a passing plane, ties it to his boat bow, pulling the plane down into the water. A woman shoots at a crocodile repeatedly, a man shoots at some dogs, a man shoots at a woman flying overhead in a plane, and a woman shoots at a man. A poisonous spider falls out of a box and a man shoots at it. Dogs charge at people and vehicles in several scenes; they snarl, growl, bare teeth and bark. A man threatens a man with a gun. A man describes how wild predators disable and kill their prey: he talks about a lizard swallowing its victims whole, how a spider kills its mate and devours him, and how a snake bites and the venom makes "you rot and pieces fall off." It is suggested that a crocodile has eaten a calf. A barn is blown up by dynamite. There are several photographs of a man with wild animals (wrapped up by a snake, his head nearing a crocodile's open jaws, etc.). A dog whimpers and cowers in a boat during two crocodile rescues. A satellite begins to break up, then self-destructs sending pieces hurtling through space; one piece enters earth's atmosphere, flares up, hits the ground and bounces into the mouth of a crocodile. A man picks up a lizard dropping and pokes in it, and he digs his hand into a large crocodile dropping and wipes his feces covered hand on his shirt. A dog urinates (we see and hear the trickle). Flies buzz around a man's face and eyes frequently. A woman flatulates a couple of times. A crocodile roars instead of the MGM lion in the introductory logo screen.
