VIOLENCE/GORE 6 - A few fairly brutal fistfights (a gun is brandished about in one and a cop is hitting someone in another). Bloody corpses are seen in a graphic montage. A boy shoots a man in the chest and we see some blood. A couple of close-up shootings, with blood. A man is shown shooting another man in the head at point-blank range, while the victim begs for his life; there are a number of dead, bloody bodies in the scene. A dead body is shown in a pool of blood and we see bloody wounds in close-up, as well as brain matter oozing out the back of the head.
LANGUAGE 9 - 40+ F-words, 40+ scatological terms, many milder obscenities, many racial epithets.
DISCUSSION TOPICS - Drugs, poverty and housing projects, racism.
MESSAGE - Sometimes you have to give someone another chance; good people can make bad mistakes too.
