SEX/NUDITY 8 - Three men go to a gay bar where we see other men dressed in leather with some men shown bare-chested; one man goes to the bathroom where we see holes in the stall doors and two penises are seen through two of the holes as men from the other side of the doors speak to the first man; the first man jumps when a third hole produces another penis that presumably poked the man in the back; a young man enters the room and shakes one of the penises as if it is a hand and is startled when he trips and falls face first into one of the other penises.
A nude young man (we see his bare chest and the side of his buttocks) and a nude young woman (we see her bare breasts and the side of her buttocks) are shown having sex, with the woman on her hands and the man holding her legs in the air while thrusting. A nude young man (we see the side of his bare buttock) and a nude young woman (we see her bare breast from the side, and her bare abdomen and legs) attempt to have sex with the woman standing and holding the man's legs in the air as if he is a wheelbarrow; they are unsuccessful (sex in a different position is implied). A man enters a room in a spa where many nude men and women recline in a steam-filled environment; we see women nude to the waist (bare breasts are visible as well as abdomens and legs; two women are seen with bare buttocks exposed and butt cleavage) and men are shown bare-chested with towels wrapped around their waist; the man speaks to one woman who remarks about his being dressed and he removes his clothing (we see his bare chest, abdomen and buttocks). A young man pulls down his pants and faces his bare buttocks toward a woman seated inside a restaurant (we see his bare buttocks). Two men act giddy when they enter a room where there are many nude women and men and one points at women and calls out parts of the body.
A man hires a sexy maid to clean his hotel room while he watches and she goes to another man's room accidentally; the second man is confused when she tells him to undress and she is wearing a skimpy French Maid dress (revealing cleavage and legs covered by sheer stockings; we do not see any sexual activity); the first man asks his maid (who is actually a maid) to show him more flesh and she seems confused. A wife calls her husband and he has the call on speaker-phone while driving with two other men in the car; the woman tells her husband that she misses him and begins to describe that she is touching herself sexually until the man interrupts her (we see her lying in bed and wearing a low-cut top that reveals cleavage and bare shoulders). Many young women surround an older man in a room and they have a pillow fight; we see some of the women topless (their bare breasts are visible) and others with their tops low-cut or open to reveal cleavage; a few of the women are shown wrestling on the floor as the man watches in delight (no sex is implied). A woman makes a comment about a young man being excited and we see a bulge in his pants.
A young man and a young woman kiss deeply. A woman kisses a man and embraces his face; we see her grab his clothed buttock as they walk away. A woman slaps a man on the clothed buttock. A man performs mouth-to-mouth resuscitation on an older man who is apparently knocked out by a baseball in a batting cage (we see no injuries).
A man barges in on his teenage son in his room and mistakenly assumes that he is masturbating when the boy nervously shuts down his computer (please see the Violence/Gore category for more details); the dad goes into an extended conversation about the act being perfectly normal, but private and that it is the celebration of one's body. A man talks about wanting to make love to a woman "wheelbarrow-style." A woman makes a crude remark about a man ejaculating on her face and another man makes a similar crude remark about the man. A man is upset when he says, "I didn't get as much as a single kiss." A young man tells his friends that he lost his virginity. A woman tries to embarrass a man who is wearing women's running gear by asking him why she cannot see his genitals through the fabric and asks pointed questions. A man makes a comment about finding sexual stimulation online and mentions a "clown [F-word deleted] an alpaca." A man talks about "dig the night" after a successful sale; presumably referring to seeking out a sexual encounter. A woman talks about a conversation she had with her pre-teen daughter who was concerned about her breasts "coming out." A woman remarks about American prudishness.

VIOLENCE/GORE 3 - We see a video of a pre-teen girl punching another child in a school cafeteria (we do not see injuries). A man and a young man drink several shots of liquor and after a shot they slap each other hard in the face. Three men break a barricade and yell at riot police who shove one of them, shoot them with paint pellets and spray tear gas at them (we see paint stains on their jackets but no other injuries).
A man in a bar throws a dart at another man with a blindfold on and the dart hits the second man in the chest (he does not react, presumably because he is drunk and we see a spot of blood at the stab site).
A teen boy is being cyber-bullied and we see pictures of him with crude phrases because he is overweight. A man and a woman argue in front of several colleagues at an office before the man quits and leaves the building. An older man is fired because a company has an age cap. A man talks about his wife being cruel and that he wants a divorce. A young girl talks to her father about not liking school and that she always has stomach aches and that she goes to the bathroom and pretends to be defecating to be able to be alone.
A man collapses on the floor during a presentation (he is not injured) and complains of his legs feeling wobbly before sitting down. A man talks about bringing home the kill on a sales job. A man reaches out to shake the hand of an enlisted man and is embarrassed when the enlisted man presents a prosthetic arm with a hook replacing his hand, but still shakes it. A man realizes how many people he is responsible for and becomes anxious.
Three men in a car end up driving the wrong way on a one way road and other drivers yell at them in German (no subtitles provided). Two men wake up inside a human size hamster ball and run through a city inside the ball; at one point they trip and tumble down a hill (no injuries are seen). A man rents a room in a "museum" where he stays in a "habitable work of art" and becomes upset when people observe him from outside a glass wall.

CAVEATS

Be aware that while we do our best to avoid spoilers it is impossible to disguise all details and some may reveal crucial plot elements.

We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and older reviews are not as complete & accurate as recent ones; we plan to revisit and correct older reviews as resources and time permits.

Our ratings and reviews are based on the theatrically-released versions of films; on video there are often Unrated, Special, Director's Cut or Extended versions, (usually accurately labelled but sometimes mislabeled) released that contain additional content, which we did not review.
