A trio of drag queens travel cross-country to enter the national drag queen pageant in Hollywood.
SEX/NUDITY 2 - A naked man wraps a towel around himself (we can't see anything). We see a couple of bare-chested men, and there are some sexual references (some graphic and fairly obscene).
VIOLENCE/GORE 3 - A woman is shown with a cut cheek: her husband yells at her and threatens to hit her. Later we hear him beating her up and we briefly see him hitting her. A cop tries to fondle a man (dressed as a woman) who then hits the cop. A group of men trap a man (dressed as a woman) in a field and linger menacingly. A couple of punch-ups.
LANGUAGE 3 - A handful of scatological references, and a couple of milder obscenities.
DISCUSSION TOPICS - Drag queens and homosexuality.
MESSAGE - Approval isn't necessary but acceptance is: we can be friends with people even if they're different from us.
