The MPAA rating has been assigned for “some suggestive content, and for teen drinking and smoking.” The Kids-In-Mind.com evaluation includes a few kissing scenes and cleavage revealing outfits, several arguments and a scuffle, several scenes with teenagers drinking and becoming drunk, and some strong language. A 17-year-old girl (Elle Fanning), barely making ends meet with her mother on their farm in the Isle of Wight, dreams of making it big with a singing career. When she meets a man (Zlatko Buric) in a bar one night after singing she takes a chance and asks him to help her get to the Teen Spirit competition. Also with Agnieszka Grochowska, Archie Madekwe, Millie Brady, Vivian Oparah, Ria Zmitrowicz and Olive Gray. Directed by Max Minghella. Teen Spirit SEX/NUDITY 3

 – A teen girl wears tank tops that reveal cleavage and her back and the outline of nipples in a few scenes. Teenage girls wear low-cut dresses that reveal cleavage, backs and bare legs to the mid-thighs in several scenes. A woman wears a low-cut dress with a slit up the middle of the skirt that reveals cleavage and bare thighs.
 A young man kisses a teen girl and presses her against a wall in a club, they kiss passionately and he kisses her neck. A young man and a teen girl kiss on a sofa and he caresses her upper thigh. A teen girl remembers seeing a man kissing her mother’s neck and caressing her clothed hip. A young man and a teen girl practice a stage move and the young man moves very close to the girl, as if to kiss her, touches her lips with his fingers and then moves away.
 A couple of teen girls kiss a couple of teen boys on the cheeks after a performance. Teen girls and teen boys dance in a club. A man tells a teen girl that her mother is very beautiful and he brings her flowers in a later scene.
 A woman tells a man that he can take her teen daughter to an audition but, “no monkey business.” A teen boy says of a teen girl, “She doesn’t like lads.” A teen girl says that she doesn’t believe in love. A man flirts with a woman. A teen boy calls a teen girl, “Foxy Roxy,” and a teen girl says about the same teen girl, “Yeah, she’s fit,” and another teen boy says, “She’s not my type.” Several teen girls talk about a young man on TV and make suggestive comments.

Teen Spirit VIOLENCE/GORE 2

 - A teen boy tries to convince a teen girl to leave a club for the night and the young man she is with pushes the teen boy and they argue until a man enters and shoves the young man over a sofa and onto the floor, picks the teen girl up over his shoulder and takes her to her room.
 A teen girl stands alone at night at a bus stop when several young men approach and call out to her; she walks away and asks a man for a ride. A man outside a bar talks to a teen girl and she declines a ride. A teen girl confronts two men as they leave her farm with her horse (they can't pay for it anymore) and she cries when she has to let it go. A man is awakened on a park bench by a police officer. Teenagers at a pool party jump into the pool from a second story balcony (no one is harmed). A teen girl kicks a truck a few times and screams after a performance.
 A teen girl yells at a man and tells him to leave her alone. A woman tells a man that if he tries anything with her teen daughter she will have him killed. Teenage girls tease another teen girl about whether or not she is going to sing in a competition. A man describes the plot of an opera and says that the lead female character kills herself in the end. A teen girl talks about her father leaving and never coming back.
 A teen girl vomits and we hear gagging (no goo is visible). A teen girl pretends to vomit in a toilet and pours water into the toilet to sound like splatters of vomit as she gags. A teen girl looks unwell after drinking a lot at a club. A bath faucet is turned on and dark water comes out.
 A strobe light flashes for an extended period of time during a performance.

 - Teenagers are shown holding cups presumably filled with alcoholic beverages in a couple of party scenes, several people in a bar drink from glasses of beer and glasses of beer are seen on tables, a man tells several teens not to drink anything from the minibar, teens at a club drink alcohol and do shots, a man forages through a minibar fridge for alcohol (he has already drunk it all), people in a bar hold and drink beers, a man says he is going for a drink, and a man drinks from a flask. Teenagers are shown smoking cigarettes in party scenes, a man smokes outside a bar, two teen girls smoke cigarettes outside a bar, and a woman smokes a cigarette in her home.
