Stylized film noir based on Frank Miller's graphic novel series: Sin City is a dark, moody and dangerous place where violent acts are occurring around every corner. SEX/NUDITY 7 - A man and a woman have sex: we see the woman thrusting on top of the man (her bare breasts are visible), he kisses her neck and they both moan. A woman lies in bed topless and wearing a thong, exposing her bare breasts and buttocks. A nude woman quivers in the corner of a room (we see her bare buttocks and breasts). Animated images of women in revealing outfits show bare breasts.
► A woman wearing a short top and low-cut pants (revealing her bare abdomen and cleavage) dances around a pole on a bar, and she thrusts her hips and gyrates while men ogle her (we see this scene twice). We see a city populated by female prostitutes, who are wearing fishnet stockings and revealing outfits and costumes. A woman wears a low-cut dress that reveals her bare back and cleavage. A woman wears her bra and panties that reveal cleavage and bare legs and a man in her apartment is bare-chested; in another scene, a man is also bare-chested.
► A man and a woman kiss very hard and passionately. A man and a woman kiss and hug, and a man and a woman kiss in several additional scenes. A man and a woman hug and lie on a cot together.
► A man says to a woman, "You've got somebody's love stink on you," and a man tells another man, "you'll get a piece of her," referring to a prostitute.

VIOLENCE/GORE 10 - A man holds a gun to a girl's head, another man shoots him in the head (we see goo spraying and oozing from the man's ear), his arm is shot off (we see the separated limb, and there's goo on the stump) and he is then shot in the crotch. A man wakes up in a room with women's heads mounted on plaques hanging on the wall, another woman quivers in the corner and says, "he eats people" and "he made me watch while he sucked the meat off my fingers" (we see the woman's hand has been cut off and the stump stitched closed).
► A young man punches and kicks a man, slashes him on the arm (we see the bloody slashes), the man punches the young man in the face (we see blood spurt) and we then see the young man with his arms and legs cut off (the bloody stumps are exposed) and a dog comes to eat the young man (we see the dog tugging at the young man in silhouette); a man's voice tells us that the young man never screamed and the man holds the young man's decapitated head in the air with blood and matter dripping from the neck.
► A man holds a gun on a woman, and another woman throws a sharp disc that cuts the man's hand off (we see goo spurt and we see the hand on the ground); the man picks up his severed hand, pries the fingers open, removes the gun, he is knocked back and sits on a knife (we see it poking out of his buttock), but he shoots the gun, which backfires and hits him in the forehead (we see him with part of the gun lodged in his forehead and goo around the wound).
► A man drags a man alongside a moving car with the man's face dragging along the pavement (from a distance, we see a bloody mass of flesh where his face used to be).
► A man with an axe fights many men with guns, and several men are struck with the axe in the head, the crotch, and back (we see blood spraying and spurting). A woman with a sword cuts several bodies into pieces (we see severed limbs and goo spurting). A woman throws a knife that cuts the top of a man's head off, and a woman with swords stabs two men through the head and cuts another man's head off. A woman stabs a man in the back and twists (we hear crunching). A woman with a sword slashes a man (blood sprays on her face) and we are told that she made a "Pez dispenser out of him." A man with a very bloody face is punched by another man who has blood splatters on him, and blood spurts on the camera lens.
► A man is shot in the arm, another man is stabbed in the stomach, his testicles are pulled off (we see bloody matter) and he is beaten in the head and face repeatedly (we see bloody pulp and yellow goo and hear squishing). A man squeezes a man's head (we hear cracking and see blood spurting onto his face), and a man squeezes a woman's head (we hear crunching but she does not die). A man is strapped into an electric chair, given a jolt of electricity, he spits blood and sizzles, he is given another, longer jolt and then he sits motionless.
► A man puts a severed head on a table, in front of another man. A woman bites a woman's neck and spits out blood and matter. A man cuts a dead man's head off, a man sees many limbs floating around him in a tar pit. A man is beaten repeatedly by men with baseball bats (we see his face very bloody and wounded) and he spits blood on a piece of paper. A man breaks a police officer's neck, punches another one and throws him off of a roof. A man slashes a police officer's throat and stabs another in the head.
► A man is shot in the shoulder, then in the back many times (we see oozing bullet holes), and then the man is shot many more times and we see him slump over and die. A woman shoots a man in the arm and head, she ties him up and beats him repeatedly with a gun. A man is shot repeatedly and a man shoots another man in the head. A man holds a woman close to him, he shoots her, she falls limp and he holds her in his arms until she dies. A woman is shot repeatedly in the chest and we see her jerk and fall to the ground. A man is shot through the chest with an arrow, and another man is shot through the head with an arrow. We see two men with arrows in their eyes, and a man with a knife in his abdomen hanging upside down from the mouth of a dinosaur replica.
► Many armed men walk toward a man holding a severed head, the head is thrown into the crowd, and it explodes knocking many people down; other people with guns fire on the crowd, many people flail and jerk from the bullet hits, and bodies fall to the ground, and the incident is referred to as a slaughter.
► A young man sneaks up behind a man, slashes him across the face with very sharp fingernails, punches him (blood spurts and sprays), and then hits the man with a sledgehammer. A woman is whipped repeatedly on the back. A man driving a car is shot in the neck (goo oozes), the man drives off the road and there is blood all around the accident site.
► In what could be an imagined sequence, a dead man talks to another man and gasps when his head tips backward and opens the neck wound that killed him. A man opens an envelope and finds severed fingers and we see blood on the envelope. A man pushes his thumbs into a man's eye sockets (the man yells).
► A man holds a gun to another man's back, he punches him and slams another man's head into a brick wall, he shoots one man in the arm, a man is punched in the face and a man is shot in the crotch. A man is shot in the head, another is shot in the chest, a woman and another man are shot, and a grenade explodes throwing a car and a man into a tar pit. In several other scenes, a man shoots a man in the head (blood splatters), a man is shot in the chest, and a woman is shot. A grenade explodes throwing a woman into the air, and another explosion throws a man into the air. A man lights a tank of gas in a barn and it explodes.
► A man punches several armed police officers, they shoot at him, he runs and falls many floors crashing into a pile of garbage, he jumps and crashes through the windshield of a moving police cruiser, he kicks the two officers in the car (we see cuts on the man's face), and he drives the car recklessly, off a pier and into water.
► A man slams a man's head against a door and throws him out of a building, and another man steps on his face as he walks by. A man punches a man, and holds another man over a shard of glass. A man shoves another man's head into a dirty toilet (we see matter floating in the water) and holds him there until he stops writhing (he is not dead). A man holds a razor to a man's eye, shoves his head into a dirty toilet where he has just urinated, the man struggles, he is let up and he vomits.
► We see a man in silhouette shoot himself in the head (goo spurts out the back of his head). A man breaks another man's arm in three places. A man is hit by a speeding car three times and then is shot at. A man with a metal pipe hits two men in the head, he shoots two other men, and he is then shot in the arm. A woman with a metal pipe hits a man on the head.
► A man coughs up blood, a woman lies dead in a bed, and a man drives in a car with a corpse seated next to him. A dog snarls and barks at a man, the man punches the dog twice and the dog yelps and lies on the ground still. A man punches a man in the face, steps on his face, injects a young woman in the neck, the man dangles from a rope around his neck while standing on tiptoes, the table is kicked out from under him, the man gags and struggles, and he swings and kicks a window shattering it.
► In different scenes a man punches a man in the face, a man slaps a woman hard in the face, another man hits another woman hard in the face (we see blood in her mouth), another man hits a woman hard in the face, a man grabs a woman around the throat, and a woman is hit in the head and knocked unconscious. We see a girl tied by the hands and feet.
► A man chases men in a car and they are chased by police. A man holds a gun on his lap when a police officer approaches his car. A car crashes into another car.
► A woman with a gun threatens a man, and a man with a gun threatens another man. A woman with a knife threatens to remove a part of a man's anatomy, and a man threatens to kill a man's wife. A police officer talks about a girl having been, "raped and slashed to bits." A man talks about planning to kill another man, and a man talks about a young man eating people's souls. A woman talks about a man abusing her, and women talk about being abused by pimps who beat them and forced them to take drugs.
► A man has chest pains and what seem to be heart attacks in a few scenes. A man has a swastika on his forehead, one character's facial features are distorted and grotesque, another character has discolored skin and distorted features, a man has many scars on his back, and a man has a scar on his forehead.
