SEX/NUDITY 2 - There are a couple of implied sex scenes (noises mainly, and after-the-fact discussions) but no nudity; just a couple of kisses. And we see a horse urinating with abandon.

VIOLENCE/GORE 0 - None.
LANGUAGE 3 - A couple of scatological references and mild name calling. Derogatory term for African-Americans is used in jest.
DISCUSSION TOPICS - Marital separation, premarital sex, adultery, abortion. A pregnant woman is shown drinking and smoking.
MESSAGE - A family is not a static thing: it changes and evolves.
