A teenager is discovered to have quasi-supernatural powers and a small-town reacts with disbelief and revulsion.

SEX/NUDITY 3 - Some bare-chested men, a couple of kisses and a couple of sexual references. A man is naked in an extended scene, but all we see are his behind and chest.

VIOLENCE/GORE 3 - A woman is shown being struck by lightning. A man is threatened with a gun. A man is struck by electricity and his body shakes. lightning causes a few boys to fall down. There are scenes where schoolboys taunt another boy, and he is yelled at and pushed around. We see a deer dying and there is a small, bloody hole on its chest. A man starts yelling and seems to have seizure.
