A young man (Ashton Kutcher) working for a tyrannical publishing mogul has dreams of doing great things if only he could get a promotion. He also happens to be very fond of his boss's daughter (Tara Reid). When asked to housesit for the boss's prized owl, he thinks that everything is turning his way, but he ends up trying to survive the evening without destroying the boss's house and killing his owl, as well as defending himself from a crazed drug dealer. SEX/NUDITY 5 - A man and a woman kiss a few times, a man kisses a woman and caresses her buttock, and a woman kisses a man on the cheek. A man fondles the breasts of two women (one appears to be enjoying it) and another woman walks into the room leading to a misunderstanding. A man admires a woman's buttocks. A man and a woman dance together while jumping, twisting and holding each other, then the woman begins doing a striptease (down to her bra and panties) while the man watches. A man talks about a woman having caught him being unfaithful and describes graphically, and demonstrates, the sexual position he was in. A man talks about his arousal. A mouse crawls into a man's pants, he jerks and twists around, a woman walks into the room and thinks he's doing something sexual (he's also holding a pair of the woman's panties in his hand). A man pulls down another man's pants and we see his bare buttocks, then another man pulls down his pants and we see his bare buttocks. A woman's T-shirt is soaked and she caresses her breasts (we see her breasts through her now transparent top), and a man's shirt is soaked and he caresses himself and licks his lips suggestively. We see two drawings of nude women revealing bare breasts and buttocks. A woman wears a skimpy, skin tight outfit while rock wall climbing; also, women wear outfits that reveal bare legs, cleavage (one woman has a tattoo on her chest), bare abdomens, and bare backs to the hip. A man threatens to open his pants and expose himself after a woman accuses him of having a small endowment. We see a gay men's magazine with two bare-chested men on the cover embracing. A man falls onto a man with his legs wrapped around his head. A woman looks down toward a man's crotch and says "put that away."

VIOLENCE/GORE 4 - A man threatens another man with a gun, he unzips his pants and urinates on him. A man is hit in the head with a shovel. A man hangs by the neck over a balcony, the rope breaks and he falls onto a man below. A man threatens another man with a gun, a man holds a man at knife point, and a man holds a woman at gunpoint. An owl flies into a man and knocks him over a stair railing. A man falls from a tree, straddles a branch (he yells in pain), a gutter tips and dumps dirt and muck on his face, bottles tumble down the gutter knocking him on the head, mice come down the gutter and one falls in his mouth, he falls onto the ground and is stuck in a bear trap. A man swerves through traffic after being attacked by an owl and the car drives through the front of a house. A man and a woman argue calling each other names and he hits her in the face (we hear a slap but do not see it). A woman has a bloody bandage on her head and in a later scene it begins to ooze and becomes stuck on things and leaves a trail of blood spots and stains. A hand reaches up out of the ground and grabs a woman's foot and she screams and panics. A man is verbally abusive to many people calling them names. A man drinks a spiked drink, falls to the floor and convulses. A man threatens to kill a man, another man threatens another man. An owl lies on the floor gasping for air, a man takes it to drink from a toilet and the lid hits the owl on the head (we hear it squawk). A woman falls from a rock wall while climbing (we hear a thud). We hear cars crashing and presume that an owl has been injured. A man in a wheelchair runs into a table a few times. A man stumbles and falls over a chair. A man tears up a house and urinates all over a room (we see the spray and the trail). Another man urinates in a room (we hear trickle), and a man urinates on a man's shoe. We see people shoveling dirt and we are told that they are burying a body. A woman talks about having been raped. A man has bear traps in his yard to keep the children away. A man eats dirt, drinks carpet cleaner and shoe polish. People spit in a bowl several times, a man burps, and people spit out coffee and drool.

LANGUAGE 5 - 1 F-word, 4 sexual references, 14 scatological terms, 15 anatomical terms, 15 mild obscenities, 2 religious profanities, 11 religious exclamations.

SUBSTANCE USE - People are shown drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes. A man flushes a powdered substance down the toilet and we find out it was a drug.

DISCUSSION TOPICS - Optimism, dreams, hate, homosexuality, parent/child relationships, goals, trust, love, racism.

MESSAGE - Trust is important.

Be aware that while we do our best to avoid spoilers it is impossible to disguise all details and some may reveal crucial plot elements.
