Follow-up to the 2006 acerbic comedy about the real-life adventures of the fake television journalist Borat (Sacha Baron Cohen) from the real nation of Kazakhstan. This time Borat comes to the US to present his daughter (Maria Bakalova, credited as Irina Nowak) as a gift to Vice President Mike Pence and proceeds to taunt, troll, prod and prank both famous and regular folks. Also with Luenell, Judith Dim Evans, Rudy Giuliani and Dani Popescu. Directed by Jason Woliner. Several lines of dialogue are spoken in Hebrew, some with English subtitles and others without. [Running Time: 1:35]

Borat Subsequent Moviefilm SEX/NUDITY 8

 – We see a drawing of a nude pregnant woman on her hands and knees with three men around her and one man stands behind her penetrating her, another man stands in front of her while she performs oral sex on him and the third man is said to be delivering her child. A man in a phone store looks at the “pornhub” website and we see pictures of nude people briefly and we then see a pornographic movie where people are thrusting and moaning (bare buttocks and legs are visible with genitals obscured).
An animated movie shows a man with an erection (pushing through his pants) and he reaches under a woman’s skirt and grabs her between the legs while they dance. We see a photo of male genitals with partially shaved pubic hair. A man stands up from a chair and we see what looks like a penis between the cushions (it is implied the chair is made out of a man’s flayed skin). A man wears underwear that reveal his bare buttocks and it has a phallus attached to the front; he dances around a room where two other men are seated and they do not react. A man and his teen daughter do what he calls a fertility dance at a debutante ball and it ends with the girl raising her skirt to reveal blood-soaked underwear and her bare legs as people watch, some in shock. A teen girl lifts her skirt to reveal pubic hair from the sides of her underwear. A man squats (we see his partial bare buttocks) next to a sign in front of a building and says that he defecated there (we do not see feces). A man runs on a sidewalk wearing briefs, a shirt and tie while people chase him. A man is shown shirtless and we see his bare chest and abdomen. Several photographs of female primates with exposed genitals are seen. A woman wears a deeply cut dress that reveals cleavage and bare legs to the mid-thighs. Women wear low-cut tops that reveal cleavage in a few scenes. We see a sex aid that is referred to as a “flesh-light” (it is in the shape of a vagina). We see a drawing of a nude woman delivering a child and the woman’s bare breasts and genitals are shown with an umbilical cord attached to the child. A man wears a costume of a larger, fully nude male body without genitals. A man is shown leaning over to have his anal temperature taken (we see his bare buttocks) and the next person in line has his temperature taken orally using the same thermometer. A man wears a “maskini” with the surgical mask covering his genitals and the ear straps over his shoulders (we see his bare chest, abdomen, buttocks and back).
A teen girl talks to former NYC mayor Rudy Giuliani and touches his knee a few times; she asks if they should go have a drink in the bedroom and we see her unfastening his pants while he sits on the bed, touches her clothed hip and buttock and puts his hand inside his pants. A teen girl sits in a restroom, reaches under her overalls and smiles (masturbation is implied). A man kisses other men on both cheeks in greeting in a few scenes.
Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein are shown eyeing young women. A man at a debutante ball seems to be offering his daughter to another man. A man offers himself to another man (sexually) instead of his teen daughter. A man and his teenage daughter go to a plastic surgeon and ask about breast augmentation; the girl asks the doctor if he would do a “sex attack on me,” and the doctor says, “If your father wasn’t here…” A man and his teen daughter go to a women’s anti-abortion clinic where they ask for a baby to be taken out of the girl (they are referring to a plastic toy in the shape of a baby that the girl swallowed), and the man says, “I put the baby in her”; the clinic representative becomes more uncomfortable as the conversation continues, with implications of incest and abortion. A man talks about delivering his 15-year-old daughter to a man as a “sexy gift.” A man asks, “Shall I give my daughter as gift?” to an American official. A man talks about going home to have “sexy time” with his wife (we do not see this). A man talks about a monkey being a “porno star.” A man says that he is busy “sexting my sister.” A reference is made to “Stormy Daniels, the wife before Melania.” A woman talks to a teenage girl about how women should behave and that they should be weak and submissive in order to attract men. A man in a dress shop with his teenage daughter asks for the “No means yes section.” A teen girl talks to a woman about what she thinks happens if a woman touches her genitals and we see drawings of genitals with sharp teeth and an illustration of the woman’s hand and arm being pulled inside the orifice. A teen girl stands up in front of a group of a Republican women’s group and talks about masturbating and describes her method. A man asks a woman, “Will you be my new Black wife?” (she declines). A man tells another man, “Stick to marrying your cousins.” A man talks about his country trafficking in grooms. A woman hugs a man and says, “Let’s make love and not war” (she does not seem to mean sexually).

Borat Subsequent Moviefilm VIOLENCE/GORE 5

 – We see several scenes of violent encounters on videos where people argue in stores about wearing masks during the COVID-19 pandemic: a woman yells and throws items on the floor as she storms out, other people shove security guards and store staff, a man punches another man in the face, a man coughs on the person filming him, and a woman coughs on another woman. A teen girl is shown in a crate and we see a bloody monkey skull inside (the girl seems to have blood on her mouth) and it is implied that she ate the monkey; two men outside the crate put the lid back on and one man nails the lid in place. A man is shown attached to the top of a “strong man” mechanism and a man strikes the bottom of it with a hammer that throws a piece of metal up hitting the man in the crotch and he screams.  Men and boys are shown working hard labor while shackled and breaking rocks with pickaxes. A teen girl runs behind a car to a feed store where her father shops for a cage for her. Many people are shown kneeling on a sandy surface with their heads buried holes in the sand. A man runs after a car that drives away with his daughter in it. A man puts on a Donald Trump costume and carries his teenage daughter over his shoulder running through a gathering of people at a political event where he offers the girl to the speaker (Mike Pence); the man is led out of the gathering by security.
A man on a stage in front of a crowd calls out to, “Inject them with the Wuhan flu,” and “Chop them up like the Saudis do” about the WHO, the press and the Democratic party; he says, “Feed ’em to the bears” about scientists and “Gas them up like the Germans.” A man wearing a KKK robe and hood runs through a hotel lobby and yells, “I’m Steve Miller.” A man wears a disguise with a long nose, sharp nails, wings and a tail and goes inside a synagogue to talk to two Jewish women; he says, “Don’t eat me alive,” and “Don’t venom me.” A fax reads, “You will be execute.” People yell at a man as he walks through a village and tell him, “Don’t bother coming back.” A monkey is described as “not as alive as he used to be.” A man talks about people wanting to “Cage Mexicans.” A 15-year-old girl talks about wanting a “beautiful wife cage.” A man asks a shop owner how many “Gypsy could I finish” with a tank of propane. It is suggested that a man was injected with a virus before coming to the US and that he was responsible for spreading it.
A teen girl uses a public restroom where her father tells her to pass a baby (a plastic toy in the shape of a baby) and we hear her grunting until she does. A man walks through a carnival with his 15-year-old daughter on a leash. A man wears a paper bag over his head when people recognize him on the street. An opening statement indicates that this film may be “Unsuitable for children under the age of 3.” A teen girl seemingly opens a beer bottle with her anus or between her buttock cheeks (it’s not clear and we do not see flesh). CAVEATS

Be aware that while we do our best to avoid spoilers it is impossible to disguise all details and some may reveal crucial plot elements.

We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and older reviews are not as complete & accurate as recent ones; we plan to revisit and correct older reviews as resources and time permits.

Our ratings and reviews are based on the theatrically-released versions of films; on video there are often Unrated, Special, Director's Cut or Extended versions, (usually accurately labelled but sometimes mislabeled) released that contain additional content, which we did not review.
