Superman (Henry Cavill) considers Batman (Ben Affleck) to be nothing more than a violent vigilante and Batman considers Superman's almost unlimited powers to be a threat to humanity. Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) takes advantage of their mutual antipathy and with a little kryptonite tries to get them to destroy each other. SEX/NUDITY 3 - A woman is shown sitting in a tub of water and her bare shoulders, upper chest and knees are shown; a man enters the room and the top of her breasts is seen when she moves in the water and when the clothed man climbs into the tub with her and they kiss (sex is implied). A woman and a man kiss in several scenes. A woman kisses a man on the cheek.
► A woman wearing a short, tight-fitting outfit reveals cleavage and bare legs to the hip; one seen shows her after she has fallen on her back and we see her bare thighs to the panty line at the crotch. Women wear dresses and tops in several scenes that reveal cleavage, bare shoulders and bare backs. A shirtless man is shown and we see his bare shoulders, chest, abdomen and back. We see a fully nude dead body (his crotch is covered by a man reaching over him); when the body sinks under water we see a darkened area at his groin. An alien creature has humanoid form and we see it fully nude (no genitals are evident).
► A man and a woman in a party seem to be flirting until the woman walks away. A woman goes into a men's restroom in order to question a man.

VIOLENCE/GORE 6 - A man with a gun threatens a man and a woman and a young boy on the street; the gunman shoots the man, then struggles with the woman and shoots her and we see the two adults dying on the ground as the boy screams (the woman has blood splattered on her face and we see this sequence in a couple of flashbacks).
► An explosive detonates in the Capitol Building and presumably many people are killed (we do not see victims but we see smoke billowing from the building and rubble).
► A man is forced to his knees by a gunman and we hear a shot (the man was killed and we do not see the body); several other men are then shot in the same scene (we see bodies falling, but do not see blood). A superhero is stabbed through the chest and we see a bloody gash in his suit as he lies motionless. A man standing inside a high-rise building prays as we see lasers cutting through the building around him and we watch from the outside as the building crumbles to the ground.
► Many people with guns fight and shoot each other; one man fights a man shooting them and hitting them with a large gun as large insect-like creatures fly overhead and are seen holding bodies in their claws; one man is beaten by a larger man and he revives chained by the wrists as a superhero appears and cuts two other chained men in half using lasers (we see the red glow), and then reaches into the chained man's chest (the man is apparently hallucinating but it's not clear); the man then sees a man surrounded by electric flashes on a screen yelling at him. Armed police find many people locked in an underground cell and hear loud noises and a man screaming from another room where we see a bloody man chained to a radiator and a superhero flies around the room while the officer shoots at him (he is not struck) and then leaves. A young boy runs from the funeral procession of his parents through thick woods and falls into a deep hole in the ground (we see him with scratches on his face); he is swarmed by many red-eyed bats that lift him to the surface.
► A woman is chased through a dark alley by a car and she runs into another car at the street where men force her inside and take her away (we see her bound and gagged later with the word "witch" drawn on her forehead).
► A superhero flies in a plane while being shot at, the plane shoots at a truck and it explodes, the pilot of the plane jumps out and through the window of a building where he fights many armed men with punches and kicks, thrown blades and gunshots; a grenade explodes, we see an arm being broken and hear a snap, and a superhero is stabbed in the shoulder, removes the knife and stabs another man in the chest. A superhero in a car speeds toward another car, hits it and causes it to flip over, he then shoots a cable into another car and drags it around before smashing it on top of another car; a man shoots a high-powered gun at the superhero until the gunman's vehicle is blown up, a car speeds into a petroleum truck and they both explode. An alien attack on a city causes a great deal of destruction and very loud explosions; streets crumble, buildings collapse and we see many people running and screaming as a large, hovering vessel lets out a shock wave that causes more destruction and giants fire balls sail through the sky and strike buildings.
► Two superheroes fight and one uses traps to stop the other (heavy gunfire and loud noises) before thy throw each other into walls and through buildings; one is sprayed with a gas that causes him to lose strength a couple of times, they crash through a roof and land hard on the ground, one is thrown over a ledge and crashes hard on the ground below, he is wrapped around the ankle with a cable and spun around crashing into cement pillars until he is held by the other with a boot to his throat and he cuts his cheek (we see a bloody slash). A man dreams that something oozes out of the crypt of his mother, then a demon (we see a malformed head and sharp teeth) breaks through the wall and lunges toward him and he wakes with a start. Two men box and are surrounded by other men cheering; one man is knocked out after several blows and we see the other man with a bloody gash on his cheek.
► A superhero flies into a burning building and rescues a young girl trapped there. A superhero flies toward a gunman threatening a woman and slams him through a wall (we see a large hole in the wall). A woman is shoved off the roof of a very tall building and a superhero catches her. A woman appears to drown and she gags and coughs after being pulled out of the water. A man is trapped under a girder after an alien attack on a city and another man lifts the large piece of metal off his legs (we see blood cross both legs below the knee and the man says that he cannot feel them (we see him in a wheelchair later and his legs have been removed below the knees). A man rushes toward a young girl standing among rubble and sweeps her up just as a large piece of debris falls over toward her (she is unharmed, and we understand that her mother was inside a building that has been destroyed). Many people are shown standing on their rooftops as water rushes around them and we see a superhero approaching (presumably to save them).
► A giant alien creature is fired on by nuclear weapons and it glows and sprouts boney structures and appears to be peeling off its skin as it roars; the alien creature fights with superheroes inflicting damage on them and the surrounding city and we see one of its arms cut off at the elbow before being wrapped with a glowing lasso and stabbed with a spear (it falls over dead). A man's head and torso are seen attached to a board and being kept alive by tubes and computer chips, then a spinning device moves toward him and we see limbs regenerating as he screams. We see something moving in what looks like a womb and it pushes out through the wall of the womb to reveal a giant creature with pointed teeth and gnarled skin.
► We see a few people after they have been branded on the shoulder with hot metal and their raw red flesh is shown. A dead body is taken out of a protective covering and a man uses a gem to cut a slice into his arm and then remove his fingerprints. A man cuts his hands and drips blood on the dead body of another man (we see the cut man with a bandage on his hand later). We see a painting of a scene where men and demons are fighting in a few scenes.
► We see a funeral procession where two coffins are being carried to a burial vault and a young boy leads the line of people. Two funeral processions are seen with caskets and mourners. A woman approaches the open casket of her dead son in her home.
► We hear about a factory fire and that many people died. A man in a wheelchair is shown missing his legs from the knees down and he climbs onto a statue to spray-paint a protest inscription; we see him being arrested later. We see many people in Day of the Dead face paint that resemble skeletons. We see images of people burning a super hero in effigy. A man is shown shackled in prison as his head is being shaved.
► A superhero in a car speeds into another superhero standing in the road and spins out before they talk threateningly to each other: one says, "The bat is dead" and the other asks, "Do you bleed?" A woman says that someone answers to no one, "Not even God." A comment is made that someone having a particular brand is a death sentence in prison. A reference is made to "gods among men." A man talks about saving his farm but realizing later that another farm was destroyed because of what they did and he says, "Their horses were drowning." A man tells a superhero that he must fight another "To the death."
► A woman looks at a liquid-filled jar on a table and it looks like urine.
