Nicolas Cage and Gary Sinise investigate a political assassination which took place during a boxing bout.

SEX/NUDITY 3 - Some kissing scenes and sexual innuendo. Several scantily clad women are seen, a woman is shown in a bra, and a woman is seen in a bra and panties as a man buries his face in her clothed crotch. A man squeezes a woman's clothed buttocks. A man unzips his pants in preparation for oral sex.

VIOLENCE/GORE 7 - An assassination takes place; we see blood spurting from the gunshot wound to the throat and the blood splatters a couple of bystanders (this scene is shown a few times throughout the film). Two people are shot and killed; one has bloody hands and torso and lies in a puddle of blood. A man is shot and killed leaving a bloody face. A woman is shot in the arm and a woman is seen twice with a bloody arm and bandage. A man spits blood on another's chest and a man shoots himself in the chest leaving a small, bloody wound. A man has very bloody hands. Bloody gloves, a bloody note and bloody money are seen a few times. A few boxing scenes, and a few fight scenes: a man kicks and punches another man, and a man beats up another man resulting in a bloody mouth, a bloody face, and a bloody, swollen eye. Several scuffles, falls, chases and rioting.

LANGUAGE 6 - One F-word, many scatological references and mild obscenities, some anatomical references.

DISCUSSION TOPICS - Law enforcement, friendship, political assassinations, conspiracies.

MESSAGE - Don't believe everything you see.
