VIOLENCE/GORE 5 - A man tackles another man and nearly punches him in the face after he makes disparaging remarks about his girlfriend. A man is thrown out of a bar by two bouncers and we see him with a bloody nose. A man is arrested for stealing a GPS from a car and we see him in jail. A man leans back in his chair and falls on the floor when a woman kicks the chair over (no injuries). A man smacks another man in the face with a sock.
► A man is bitten by a rattlesnake and we see his bloody leg as he is wheeled into a hospital. A man steps in a hole in a fallen tree and disturbs a swarm of bees that buzz around him and another man; the men fall and then run away (we later see one man treating bee stings; please see the Sex/Nudity category for more details).
► Several men put another man on a table in a bar and peel the bandage off a wound on his leg (we see a scabbed snakebite wound and a dab of blood on the bandage). We see a badly charred animal on the ground after a forest fire. A man has a recurring dream about a fire raging in a forest and we see the flames and sparks rising in the night sky as a bear fully engulfed in flames runs out of the forest toward the man and past him (we see this scene a few times and he describes the scene once). A horse is unloaded from a trailer and we see that its hooves are cracked and then that it has deep scars on its face and hind quarters (presumably mistreated by someone); we see a woman cleaning him and trimming his hooves.
► A fast moving fire spreads rapidly and threatens a safe zone where firefighters are headed; they dig a trench to try to protect themselves and deploy their safety shelters as the fire rages toward them but they are engulfed and we see their belongings and their shelters charred later. A firefighter uses a torch to lay a path and deter a raging fire; the torch blows a large flame and the man throws it into the forest where it explodes, he runs and falls as the fire bares down on him and another man pulls him away to safety. A firefighter is surrounded by flames as they spread rapidly; he is rescued by another man in a vehicle.
► A woman falls asleep while driving at night and the car speeds off the side of the road and flips (we see her with a cut on her lip and a bruise on her face the next day and we also see the car with a twisted wheel and shattered windshield).
► A forest fire rages on the outskirts of a neighborhood and we see people running with possessions through the streets as they evacuate. A forest fire endangers a large old growth tree and firefighters burn off a line around the tree to protect it; a nearby shrub catches fire and they cut it apart to douse the flames. Firefighters burn off a line on the ground in order to stop a raging forest fire and a support plane accidentally douses it. Firefighters deploy to a forest fire and we see large clouds of smoke billowing in the sky as they approach. Many men cut burning timber and dig ditches to break the path of forest fires in several scenes. Firefighters practice deploying protective barriers in a few scenes. Firefighters deploy to a forest fire on the rim of the Grand Canyon and we see burned trees tumble off the edge and into the canyon where they send up bursts of flames. An air support plane drops water on firefighters and a shelter demolishing it and drenching the men.
► A man loses the chin strap for his protective helmet and he is shown with tape wrapped around the helmet and his chin. A man uses a chainsaw to open a beer bottle. A man and a woman ride on horses while searching for an abandoned young horse (we do not see them find the horse).
► A man yells and pounds on the seats of a truck when he hears that men have died in a fire. A woman screams and collapses when she hears that men have died in a fire. Many family members cry and collapse when they understand that their loved ones have died in a fire. A woman yells at a man as he collapses on the ground in grief. An infant cries at night and we understand that she is running a fever; her father panics when he realizes that he has to use a rectal thermometer on her. A man talks about someone blowing themselves up. A man talks disrespectfully to another man. Two men argue in a few scenes. A husband and his wife argue about starting a family in a few scenes. A husband and his wife argue about their addictions (presumably drugs or alcohol). A husband and his wife argue in a few scenes. A man says, "Bless your little black heart." A woman tells her adult son that he needs to leave their home. A man asks another man, "When was the last time you used?" and "Ever use needles?" A man asks a man if he has a record and he says "yes" and that he was convicted of felony larceny. A man tells another man, "You're gonna end up dead or behind bars."
► A man gasps and heaves while running on a dirt road up a hill; we then see him vomit on the road (we see goo). Firefighters fly in a helicopter to a forest fire and one man vomits in a bag (we do not see goo). Several men are shown spitting in several scenes. A woman describes having urinated on herself.
