SEX/NUDITY 1 - A man and a woman walk arm-in-arm. People are in swimsuits in a beach scene (men are bare-chested and women wear bikinis). A boy is shown only in his boxer shorts tied to a tree, a boy is bare-chested in a couple of scenes, and a woman wears low-cut tops that reveal cleavage in several scenes.

VIOLENCE/GORE 4 - A boy punches another boy in the nose (we hear a crunch), the boy falls to the floor and we see him with a bloody and bruised face and mouth later. A boy grabs another boy, shoves him against a fence, punches him in the stomach, and chases him. A man is hit in the head with a coconut and a boy is hit in the head with a golf ball in a couple of scenes.
► A boy grabs another boy, pulls him into a doorway, swings his fist at him, hits a bucket, and grabs the boy and holds him on the ground. A boy grabs another boy by the hair and pulls, making the boy move like a puppet. A boy grabs another boy by the head and squeezes. A boy pushes another boy's face into a school bus window. A boy grabs another boy around the throat and rubs his knuckles into his head. A girl sits in a school bus seat with a boy and shoves him against the window. A girl shoves a boy back against a wall using a lunch tray. A boy puts a bag over another boy's head and makes him walk for a certain time before removing the bag.
► Angry and snarling attack dogs charge out of their crates and toward a man who jumps into his truck as they scratch and snap at him. A man holds a baby alligator toward a boy's face and the boy pulls away. A boy pours out a bag of cottonmouth snakes and they slither around his feet (he is OK eventually). A boy falls on several rattraps and is pinched by them. A man opens a toilet seat lid and an alligator snaps at him.
► A man blows fire extinguisher gas into owls' nests. A man swings a bat at two rats that scurry through his bathroom (he does not hit either).
► Police in a cruiser chase a boy on a bike. A man is put in handcuffs by a police officer.
► A boy and his mother argue and struggle over a letter. A man yells at another man in many scenes (he's boss to employee) and one time threatens to fire him.
► A boy collapses from an infection and out of exhaustion. We see a boy with a badly infected dog bite on his arm.
► A man drives a bulldozer toward a group of people and three children stand in its way. A boy vandalizes a construction site as well as a police vehicle. A boy puts a bag over his eyes. A man is taped and tied to a chair.
► A man nearly drives a police traffic scooter into a parked car. A car rams into trees as it tries to turn around.
► A girl talks about someone throwing a clock radio at her father, and that the girl then hit a woman in the head with a mango. We hear that dogs were frightened by snakes.
LANGUAGE 4 - 2 scatological terms, 1 mild anatomical term, 2 mild exclamations, name-calling (jerk, a boy is called "cowgirl" throughout the movie, dork), 2 mild obscenities, 2 religious exclamations.
SUBSTANCE USE - None.
DISCUSSION TOPICS - Repeated relocation, fitting in, being the new kid, bullies, vandalism, respect, judging people, trouble making, revenge.
MESSAGE - Be aware of wildlife habitats before choosing a building site. Good causes are worth fighting for.
