A call for a new Galactic Ranger inspires a young Lombax (voiced by James Arnold Taylor) to try out for the position. Dejected, he takes refuge in a machine shop with a friend (voiced by John Goodman) until their planet is threatened and he figures out a way to save everybody. SEX/NUDITY 1 - Two female characters wear skintight uniforms that outline their breasts and hips and one shimmies her hips while playing a video game.

VIOLENCE/GORE 3 - Sirens sound as an attacking warship flies over a crowded city and deploys war bots: the war bots and a team of rangers exchange fire and we see many bots struck before a small flying vessel guides the remaining bots to crash into the larger ship and it blows up mid-air.
► Machinery whirs and lights flash as a bright beam targets a planet and causes it to explode (we see debris in the area and hear that the planet is uninhabited). A beam of light targets a planet, we see it begin to glow red before it explodes and we see the rubble thrown (we hear that no one was killed). An attack on a planet is planned and we hear that it is populated; we see many people evacuating.
► A character is struck and falls into a bright light and seems to be absorbed in it (we see him alive later). A beam of light moves across the surface of a planet and we see a character standing in its path (we assume that the character was struck but do not see the result). A laser strikes a character and he falls to the ground motionless (he is fine later). A robot throws a character and she slams into a wall then falls to the floor (she is fine later). A large robot grabs a small alien by the head, takes away his phone and eats it after the alien was caught texting during the leader's speech. A character shoots another character and we see his charred face. A small robot moves on an assembly line as a voice declares that he is a "defect" and to "prepare for immediate destruction"; the robot runs away and is chased by a large robot that shoots at him, but he gets away in a flying vessel. A character holds a small robot over a ledge and threatens to drop him if he doesn't give her information (he eventually tells her what she wants to know). A robot is rained upon and he rusts and falls over. A character is sapped by a weapon and he turns into a sheep before being placed in a flying vessel (we see him turn back to his normal form later). Two characters fight and shoot at each other (neither is harmed). Two characters are pulled toward a swirling tornado cloud (they are not harmed). Three characters are trapped in a vessel that is about to explode (they are OK). We hear the voice of a character screaming and pleading as small robots go inside wreckage where he is; we hear machinery whirring and the robots come out followed by the character (he has been transformed, but is OK).
► A flying vessel crashes to the surface of a planet and a character investigates the wreckage, pulling out a robot before the vehicle explodes. A vehicle speeds above the surface of a planet and bounces on the ground before being stopped (no one is harmed).
► A door on a flying vessel opens and several characters are sucked out into space. An elderly character is launched from an ejector seat and we hear him scream as he is thrown high into the air (no injuries are shown). A robot jumps into a taxi and throws the driver out (we see the driver falling toward the ground as he screams but do not see the impact). A character is slammed into a Murphy bed and we see his fingers squished between the bed and the frame (no permanent injuries). Occupants of a flying vessel panic and yell and hit each other. A character practices with weapons and is thrown by the force of the discharge and chased by some objects like blades and missiles but is not harmed. Someone throws something that hits a small robot and calls out "Sorry, I thought it was a garbage can." A character on a lift crashes to the ground (no injuries are seen).
► A scientist watches his "war bots" being moved along an assembly line and armed and talks about their being programmed to destroy (and annihilate) Galactic Rangers. A character plans an attack on the Galactic Ranger team and talks about destroying them. We hear a news broadcast of a planet's destruction. A character tells another character, "Dream smaller, it will lead to less disappointment." A couple of the Galactic Rangers talk about shooting first and needing to shoot something. A voice says, "Prepare for imminent death." A character says, "Galactic losers, prepare to die." A character says, "It makes me want to vaporize someone." While playing a video game with an unseen opponent a character says "Go cry to your mommy," then pauses and asks, "Wait, are you actually crying?" A male character talks to a female character in a dismissive manner and after a liquid spill tells her, "Well you've got a mop." A character says, "We should have shot something by now. A character laughs with a deep, throaty voice. Robots chase several characters and chant that they are, "Looking to kill you." A character talks about having mood swings. A character talks about the destruction of a planet causing a chain reaction that will destroy the whole system. A character talks about a weapon called the RYNO ("Rip You A New One"). A character locks another character in an office and talks to him about betrayal to convince him to work against his own people.
► A photograph of a criminal shows him with a bloody nose and a bandage on his forehead. We see drawings of an attack on an enemy. A character asks for a "tootsie rub" and another character cringes at the thought.
► Two characters gag loudly and vomit (we hear splatter but do not see any); then one of them gags and vomits again (we hear but do not see splatter).
