A young woman (Sulem Calderon) dreams of making her way from Honduras to California to be with her mother and when one day a young man seems to offer her a way to do so, she agrees. Unfortunately, she does not realize that the arrangements come with unsavory demands and she may become the victim of human trafficking. Also with Kate Bosworth, Jesy McKinney, Diana Cabuto, Jasper Polish and Giancarlo Ruiz. Directed by Michael Polish. Several lines of dialogue are spoken in Spanish with English subtitles. Nona SEX/NUDITY 5

 – A man drags a woman into a room by the hair and she screams and fights and he slaps her, holds her by the throat and he straddles her (rape is implied and we see the woman’s bruised face later).
 We hear sexual moaning coming from rooms in a brothel. A woman gives a young woman a pill and makes a comment about not wanting her to become pregnant (it’s a morning after pill). A woman talks about her father selling her mother first, and then her. Women in a brothel talk about not liking to perform oral sex. A woman talks about allowing a woman working in a brothel to keep her baby. A man tells a young woman that he is suffering from heartbreak.
 Women in a brothel wear revealing clothing (we see cleavage and partial buttocks). A young woman wears tight-fitting tank tops that reveal cleavage in several scenes. Nona VIOLENCE/GORE 4

 - A man drags a woman into a room by the hair and she screams and fights and he slaps her, holds her by the throat and he straddles her (rape is implied and we see the woman's bruised face later). A woman yells and pulls another woman's hair. A man blindfolds a young woman and tells her that she will be traveling without him and he leaves. A young woman is stopped by police while walking on a sidewalk and she is taken to the police station where she is questioned (we see her in a cell).
 A young woman describes what she does to prepare dead bodies for funerals (such as, exposing the carotid and jugular, sucking out any remaining fluid, stitching them back up and bathing them). A young woman talks about family members being killed; one was gunned down in the streets, another was stabbed in a home invasion. A woman talks about having been attacked in her car and that men stood in front of her car, opened fire and all the bullets hit her but did not kill her (she had children in the car). A young woman says, "I am not afraid of death." A man and a young woman talk about sin and mortal sin. A young woman says that it was normal to see a murdered body in the street. A man says that he wishes a woman was dead. A man says, "I refuse to speak her language." A woman talks about her father selling her mother first, and then her. We read that human trafficking is the fastest growing criminal enterprise. A woman in a prison tells a young woman that she was manipulated by a smuggler who sold her into prostitution.
 Several scenes show people living in squalor and one scene shows children playing with garbage in a stream. A young woman says that she didn't grow up with electricity. We see a dead cow in a field as wolves prowl around. A woman talks about the smell of a morgue. A young woman applies makeup to a deceased person in a funeral home. A man and young woman ride on the roof of a bus; they must duck to avoid tree limbs at one point.
