SEX/NUDITY 5 - A man licks a woman's cheek (she is tied to a chair and he is forcing himself on her), he kisses her, and licks his finger and prepares to penetrate her with it.
 A woman wears a silky robe that reveals cleavage and drapes open to reveal bare legs when she sits on a sofa across from a man. A woman wears a low-cut nightgown that reveals cleavage. A toddler girl bathes in a basin (we see her bare chest), and a man sits in a bathtub while a woman shaves his bare chest.
 A woman and a young man kiss passionately. A woman and a young man hug, and she nuzzles his neck in such a way that it is implied that they have had a sexual relationship.
 A man makes a crude, racist and derogatory comment about a part of a woman's anatomy.

VIOLENCE/GORE 9 - A young man with a large sword slashes a man across the abdomen (we see the wound open and blood pours out), then across the hand cutting off a finger, and then the back (blood seeps from each wound); the camera pulls back and the man's head is then lopped off (we hear the sword, hear a thud and we can see the head separate from a distance).
 A man is tied to a tree around the chest and throat, the other end of the rope is tied onto the back of a horse, the horse walks away and the rope tightens around the man's neck; the man gags, his eyes bleed, and his head pops off (we hear a pop and a thud and a young man's face is sprayed with blood).
 A man reaches for a gun and a young man stabs him through the chin (we see the point of the blade poke through the top of his head).
 A tank on the ground and a plane in the air fire at each other: the man in the tank is shot through the chest, another man on the ground is shot through the back (we see bullet holes and blood), and the plane crashes near the tank throwing several people through the air; a woman stumbles out of the smoke with a wound on her back and dies in a child's arms.
 A young man slashes a man's Achilles' tendons (we see bloody slashes and the man falls to the floor), he breaks the man's hand with a chair, he carves a letter in the man's chest (we see the bloody wound), stabs him in the arm, and then bites off one of his cheeks (we hear the man scream and see the open wound); he then bites other parts off (we hear the man screaming and see the young man climb on top of him).
 A man is attached to a device that lowers him into a liquid-filled tank containing cadavers; he thrashes and tries to free himself, he is pushed under the surface, a lid is closed on top of the tank, the tank is filled with liquid, and the man thrashes some more and drowns.
 A dead man missing his head lies on a morgue table (we see several wounds caked with dry blood, including the severed neck). A severed head is placed on a gatepost (we see blood in its nose and mouth). A man's severed head is placed on an altar and a woman finds it, and a man's severed head is placed on a tree stump and we see it with its cheeks missing. We see a man's severed head and face burning in an incinerator. A young man prepares bodies for medical school anatomy classes (we see bloody bodies with openings where organs have been removed and we see a scalpel cutting into a blood-soaked body part). We see a small human skull and two bones (probably of an arm and a leg) in a basin. We see organs and tissue in jars filled with liquid (one contains what looks like a human child's skull and spine).
 A woman stabs a man in the throat (we hear him gurgle and see blood pour from the wound). A young man beats a man repeatedly using a meat mallet and a woman holds a knife to another man's throat.
 A man shoots a wounded man in the head (we see the man flinch and blood spurts). A man shoots a woman in the head (we see her slide down a wall leaving a smear of blood).
 A young man is shot in the back and falls to the floor (we see a bloody bullet hole in his back), and a man stands over him with a knife and threatens to cut off a part of his anatomy and give it to his girlfriend.
 A man raises an ax over a little girl while other men hold her down, and we hear her screaming and hear a thud (apparently killing her). A man is interrogated about war crimes, he is given an injection of a sedative, he is led into a room where he is strapped to a table, and we hear a guillotine blade come down and a thud (presumably the head falling into a basket). A man is identified as being Jewish and is taken off-screen and shot (we hear the gunshot).
 A man tries to slap a young man in the face, and the young man stabs him in the hand with a fork (we see blood on his hand). A young man stabs a man in the neck with a syringe (the man falls unconscious).
 A woman stitches up a young man's finger using a needle and thread (we see the needle pass through his skin and blood on the wound). A young man cuts his own finger with a razor (we hear squish, and we see blood and an open cut).
 A man with an ax takes a girl by the hand and leads her outside, a boy tries to stop him and another man breaks his arm using a club and the boy collapses to the floor unconscious.
 A man is thrown overboard, he flails in the water as the ship floats toward him and eventually crushes him against the wall. A young man steps in a trap, it snaps shut and he falls to the ground yelling and flailing.
 A young man has repeated nightmares, where he remembers men taking his sister away, killing and eating her.
 Several armed men break into a house where a young boy and girl hide, and the men chain the children together and threaten to shoot the girl.
 A young man strikes a man twice with a stick. A young man splashes a man with alcohol and threatens him with a lighter. A young man holds a sickle over another young man's throat while he sleeps. A man grabs a man and threatens him with a pick ax.
 A man eats a bird; we see him pushing the bird into his mouth (it seems uncooked), we hear squishing and see blood on the man's mouth. We see several quick-cut images of raw meat being cut with a cleaver and fish being gutted (we see blood and intestines and hear a lot of squishing).
 A house is bombed, it explodes and collapses, and a man is struck, and trapped by debris (we see blood on his head). A soldier has a bloody wound on his head. A man shoves and manhandles two women who are locked in a cell in the hold of a ship. A man grabs a woman by the face and squeezes.
 A man is held with a knife to his throat and asked if he is a "Gypsy or a Jew"; one man says they should look at a part of his anatomy to find out and starts to unbuckle his pants (they are interrupted). A young man holds a gun on a man who tries to get away and the young man fires the gun (the man is not struck).
 Several men talk about eating children to survive. A young man tells a man that he has taken his children and will only return them if he gives him information. We hear people talking about a man's responsibility in telling Nazi soldiers where children were and the children were then led to their deaths. A man talks about finding the remains of cooked mushrooms and cheeks. A man tells a woman, "Your boyfriend ate someone's face."
 A boy and girl hear an explosion in the distance and see planes flying over their home, and they rush back to find their parents packing their belongings. Armed soldiers march along a road with tanks and armored vehicles.
 A man holds a frozen, dead rodent in his hand and we see frozen maggots on it (he had planned to eat it). Wild dogs sniff at dead bodies left on the ground. We see many dead and stuffed animals in a taxidermy shop.
 A woman and a young man fight with wooden swords (practicing).
 A young man breaks into an abandoned house, and he is startled by a boar and rats running about.
 A ship explodes.

LANGUAGE 5 - 4 F-words, 3 sexual references, 1 scatological term, 4 anatomical terms, 2 mild obscenities, name-calling (ugly, fat, monster), 1 derogatory term for a Japanese person.

SUBSTANCE USE - A young man injects himself with a drug (looks like a truth serum). A man is injected with something that is likely to be a sedative or a truth serum. A man drinks alcohol and smokes a cigarette. Men are shown smoking cigarettes in several scenes.

DISCUSSION TOPICS - War crimes, anti-Semitism, cannibalism, murder, guilt, desperation, death of parents, death of siblings, starvation, forgiveness, the human pecking order, bombing of Hiroshima, death of family members and loved ones in war.

MESSAGE - Painful memories can hurt you forever, but seeking revenge can drive you to extremes.
