Clerks II | 2006 | R | - 10.4.10

In this sequel that takes place 10 years after "Clerks," best friends Dante and Randal return (Brian Christopher O'Halloran and Jeff Anderson) as the indefatigably unambitious New Jersey friends. The quick mart where they worked has burned to the ground and now they are flipping burgers at a fast food restaurant, while continuing to abuse the customers. Also with Rosario Dawson, Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith. Directed by Kevin Smith. [1:38]

SEX/NUDITY 10 - A man wearing leather chaps and underwear (he's bare-chested and part of his bare buttocks are exposed) dances around a donkey while several other men watch: the man moves below the donkey, presumably performing oral sex on it, and then stands behind it thrusting rhythmically, presumably having sex with it.
A young man masturbates (we see him moving rhythmically and moaning). A man makes crude sexual comments and dances seductively while caressing his own nipples.
A man stands with his coat open revealing his bare chest and legs and his genitals are tucked between his legs. A man presses his bare buttocks against a restaurant window. A woman lifts her top to reveal her breasts to a man (she is wearing a sheer bra). A woman wears a low-cut tank top that reveals cleavage and dances while a man watches and admires her. A man dances while using a urinal in a restaurant bathroom, and his pants slip down revealing his buttock cleavage. A young man with his pants around his ankles runs across a room (we see him in boxers and he is bare-chested). A man sitting on a toilet with his pants around his ankles opens the bathroom door and a girl eating in a restaurant sees him.
A woman climbs over the counter of a fast food restaurant and kisses a man passionately (it's her fiancé). A man and a woman hug and kiss. A man and a woman dance together and he dips her.
A man and a woman talk about having had sex in a restaurant kitchen and the woman talks about getting mayonnaise in a part of her anatomy. A young man talks about his girlfriend having trolls in her body that protect her from having premarital sex. A man talks in crude terms about a woman performing sex acts on a donkey. A man talks to a young man about the young man smelling the man's fingers after he had sex. A man makes a crude sexual remark to a woman (he thinks she is going to commit suicide and suggests that they have sex first). A man makes crude sexual remarks about an alternate, homoerotic ending to a movie. A man and a young man talk about having sex with women. A man tells another man that he thinks the man's fiancé wants to get them all together for sex. Three people debate about whether a particular sex act is acceptable or not. A man makes reference to a part of a woman's anatomy and describes its size.
A crude sexual remark is written on a young man's employee photograph and then a picture of male genitals is taped to it. A crude sexual remark is written on the wall of a restaurant. A man wears a T-shirt that says "Sail Nude."

A man grabs a man by the shirt collar and shoves him against a wall. A man swings at a man and punches a restaurant drive-thru statue instead. A man lunges at a man who shoves him away.
A man talks about high school hazing incidents that include stripping boys of their clothing and shoving them into the girls' locker room, and inserting a pickle into a boy's anus. A young man talks about his girlfriend having trolls in her body that will bite off his genitals if he tries to have sex with her.
A man threatens to beat a man up. A woman drives by a clinic and contemplates having an abortion.

CAVEATS

Be aware that while we do our best to avoid spoilers it is impossible to disguise all details and some may reveal crucial plot elements.

We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and older reviews are not as complete & accurate as recent ones; we plan to revisit and correct older reviews as resources and time permits.

Our ratings and reviews are based on the theatrically-released versions of films; on video there are often Unrated, Special, Director's Cut or Extended versions, (usually accurately labelled but sometimes mislabeled) released that contain additional content, which we did not review.
