► A young vampire girl tackles a man to the floor and stabs him in the chest repeatedly with a crucifix he wears around his neck (blood splatters on him and the child and stains his shirt); another man tries to stab the child with a wooden stake and she gets it away from him and stabs him in the leg (he yells in pain and we see blood and the stake through his leg). A young vampire girl breaks a metal cage door open and attacks a man, a woman opens a window and sun shines on the girl’s arm causing it to melt away, as the child screams (we see blood and tissue and watch as the arm appears to be re-growing). A man bites another man on the neck and we see the bloody wound on his neck; the first man then opens a vein in his own wrist and pours blood in the other man’s mouth and we see the second man as he gurgles and gags and vomits a torrent of blood. ► A woman hears a voice in her head and sees a wound on her arm healing, she bites a man on the throat and pulls a chunk of flesh off (we see blood pumping out of an artery) and she bites him again as he yells (we see her with many pointed teeth in her mouth and her eyes have changed color). A woman searches a house and opens a large chest that looks like it could be a coffin (there is nothing inside); she stumbles back through a door and falls into a swimming pool that is filled with decaying bodies (we see the bodies with some gaping wounds) and goo and we hear flies buzzing as she screams and struggles to get out. A man roars at a woman and we see his many sharp teeth.

Be aware that while we do our best to avoid spoilers it is impossible to disguise all details and some may reveal crucial plot elements.
We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and older reviews are not as complete & accurate as recent ones; we plan to revisit and correct older reviews as resources and time permits.
Our ratings and reviews are based on the theatrically-released versions of films; on video there are often Unrated, Special, Director's Cut or Extended versions, (usually accurately labelled but sometimes mislabeled) released that contain additional content, which we did not review.
