Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines | 2003 | R | - 4.8.5
John Connor (ick Stahl), the young man who had been pursued by a Terminator cyborg in "T2" is now 18 years old and he's a drifter. Although the world has survived beyond the originally scheduled "judgment day," he still doesn't feel safe, so he goes from job to job and has no permanent address. He's right to feel edgy, since a new cyborg from the future is again after him. This time it is in the form of a woman (Kristanna Loken) who can morph and has a large arsenal of weapons on-board. John's protector Terminator model (Arnold Schwarzenegger) returns to save him again. Also with Claire Danes and David Andrews. Directed by Jonathan Mostow. [1:48]
SEX/NUDITY 4 - A nude woman walks across a street: we see her bare buttocks, back, legs and part of one bare breast. A nude man walks through a desert, across a road and into a bar where women look at him and make remarks (we see his bare chest, buttocks and legs). A male stripper dances on a stage in front of a crowd of cheering women (we don't see him take anything off). A female Terminator sees a billboard reading "What is sexy," picturing a woman with cleavage, and the Terminator makes her own breasts and cleavage grow. Women wear tight-fitting outfits that reveal cleavage and bare abdomens. A man and a woman talk about having kissed when they were in junior high school together, and that kids "made out" in a friend's basement.

VIOLENCE/GORE 8 - A Terminator punches its hand through the back seat of a car and through the driver's chest (we see a blood soaked arm moving around and see the man quivering and gagging until he dies); the passenger is slammed against the window of the car causing it to break and we see blood splatter on it. A Terminator shoots a young man through a drive-thru window, and a Terminator shoots a young man after shoving him onto the floor. A man is shot in the chest several times and falls to the floor (we see holes in his clothing and blood in his mouth). A woman is shot, she falls on the floor quivering, a Terminator approaches her, sticks its finger in a bloody bullet hole on her chest and licks its finger. A Terminator approaches a man, we hear a saw, hear a crunch and see blood splatter on a photograph. A bomb explodes in a room killing a man (we see blood on his face and head). A Terminator approaches a woman in a car, we turn away from the woman, hear a tearing crunch, and see the Terminator driving the woman's car and wearing her clothes. Heavily armed machines roll through a facility shooting many people (we see rooms littered with dead bodies). Two Terminators fight, punching and kicking each other and slamming into and through walls, into toilets, and one head-butts the other a few times; then one shoots fire at the other causing its face to melt, one touches the other with an electrical cable and it jerks and sputters, and one Terminator is slammed down onto a metal slab, kicked several times and then its head is kicked off. A Terminator throws a man a couple of times, holds him by the throat and nearly hits him. A Terminator with a woman's appearance is shot and falls back onto the floor. A Terminator is shot at by many armed police officers, he shoots back destroying their vehicles but causing no human casualties. Two helicopters crash into a building, and one helicopter squashes a Terminator as it passes. A woman is shot at as she runs away, she gets into a truck, a Terminator punches out the window, tears off the door, throws the woman out of the truck, and presses its foot on the woman's neck. A Terminator chases and shoots fire at a man and a woman. A woman shoots a Terminator, and the Terminator catches the bullet in its mouth and spits it out. A Terminator grabs a man's leg and he screams in pain. A Terminator chases a car, jumps on its roof, begins cutting it open with a saw, it is shot at repeatedly, the car drives under a truck, peeling the Terminator off along with the roof. A Terminator drives cars by remote control, they slam into a pick-up truck, ram it, the truck spins around, and the other cars sandwich it. A Terminator hangs from the hook and arm of a truck and is dragged through a building; we see glass shattering, and the building crumbling; the Terminator is slammed into the front of a fire truck, it throws the firefighters out of the moving truck and chases another truck crashing into it, and the driver shoots at it causing the fire truck to explode. A Terminator is hit by a rocket-propelled grenade and crashes into a headstone. A Terminator shoves an explosive into another Terminator and it explodes. A Terminator is hit by a pick-up truck, slammed through a wall and the truck explodes. A Terminator is shot several times (we see holes in its metal), another Terminator is shot with a laser and it is thrown back and crashes into a wall (we see it smoldering and it has slashes in its skin). A Terminator drives a large construction vehicle with a huge arm and hook and chases a man in a small pick-up truck: the arm and hook are deployed knocking down many light poles and hitting many parked cars, the truck is overturned and crashes down hard onto the roadway with the driver climbing along the outside at the time and flames billow from the wreckage. A Terminator throws a man off a motorcycle and steals it. A car crashes into the back of another car followed by a huge truck. A Terminator drives recklessly through busy streets. A man crashes his motorcycle while trying to avoid a deer in the road; the man rolls on the street in pain (the deer is uninjured) and we see him later with a bandaged leg wound (a bit of blood on the bandage). A Terminator squeezes a man's hand (we hear a crunch and hear the man exclaim in pain) and threatens him. There are a few scenes that show the surface of the planet being hit by missiles that explode on impact, send up huge mushroom clouds and shockwaves wipe out everything around them. A plane shoots at a man and a woman, she picks up a gun, fires back and the plane breaks apart. We see the floor of a stream or a river carpeted with human skulls and bones. A Terminator shoots at a pick-up truck, but misses and hits a truck with gas canisters tanks on the back and it explodes. A Terminator sticks to a metal tube when the magnetic field in a passage way is initiated (we see it twitch and begin to break apart). A Terminator cuts its chest open, tears off the outer "flesh," pulls out a failing part, throws it out at a moving vehicle, and it explodes on the side of the road sending out a slight shockwave. A Terminator comes back to "life" and we see it re-covering itself with liquid-metal and then "flesh." A woman jumps on a Terminator's back and it throws her against a metal box where she hits her head. A young man imagines a city in flames with robots marching through, firing weapons. A woman shoots a man with a paint-ball gun and shoves him into a kennel. A man holds a gun to his head and threatens to kill himself. A man yells at and threatens another man. A Terminator pulls a coffin out of the wall of a crypt and opens it revealing an arsenal of weapons. A Terminator puts a woman over his shoulder, tosses her in the back of a pick up truck and locks the door (we hear her yelling a few times and see her being tossed around as the truck swerves). A Terminator holds a man off the ground by his neck and the man coughs and gasps; and a Terminator holds a woman off the ground and she screams for help. We hear radio broadcasts from cities under attack. We see robots with glowing red eyes in a couple of scenes. A Terminator fires the gun of a machine at another machine that fires back, until they both smolder and break down. Mannequins melt in a store display when a Terminator arrives, brush catches fire when another Terminator arrives. A Terminator pounds on a pick-up truck until it is crumpled. A man talks about his step parents having been murdered. People talk about how a man dies. We hear about a woman having died and that she was cremated.
