A teenage girl is shown wearing a mini-skirt that reveals her bare upper thighs. A shirtless teenage boy is shown and we see his bare shoulders, chest, back and abdomen. Teenage girls wear low-cut tops that reveal cleavage in several scenes. Female ranger armor is form fitted with breast plates and both male and female have buttocks outlines.

VIOLENCE/GORE 5 - Five teens powering a giant robot fight with a giant monster, they punch and kick each other, and then one stabs the other in the chest with two swords (we see fluid running from the wounds) and an alien is backhanded and thrown through the air and into space (we see the alien unconscious and she crystallizes as she moves into space). Five teenagers are tied to fishing cages while an alien interrogates and threatens them; she presses the end of her staff against a teen's throat and the veins in his face bulge and turn black, and then a teen boy is seemingly killed and he falls into the water (we see his body when the other teens pull him out and carry him away; he is revived later).
An alien attacks a man for his teeth: she slams him against a wall and we see a shadow of her pulling out his teeth. A van with five teenagers speeds at barrier by a train track and is struck in the side, thrown over an incline and rolls (we see the crumpled remains of the car but the passengers are uninjured). Two teenage boys tie a cow to a locker room bench and run when they hear a police car approaching; one boy backs his car into a squad car, speeds away and crashes into a parked car (we see the driver with a bloody nose after the car flips). An alien is shot in the chest by a police officer and she falls back through a glass display case (we see no blood and she revives), and she is shot at several more times until a giant monster grows from the ground and presumably kills the officer (we do not see the action). An alien hovers over a teen girl sleeping in bed, she grabs her by the face and they slam each other into a wall (we see the damaged wall later). A man is tied into a chair and gagged with tape; an alien crashes down on him and he seems to disintegrate (we do not see blood). A man in a truck speeds through a town, the vehicle flips and flames burn around him until a teen pulls him out and helps him to safety (we see the man with a bloody head and face).
Five teens in vehicles attack a giant monster and shoot at it; it hits them, throws them and throws a fire ball at them, eventually pushing them off a cliff and into a fiery pit below and then they return as a giant robot and they appear unharmed. Five teens wearing armor fight many rock monsters underwater, crushing them to rubble. Five teens wearing armor fight many rock monsters on land and crush many to rubble (one has its head pulled off); eventually the teens use dinosaur shaped vehicles to dispatch the remaining monsters. A golden demon looking monster (it has horns and wings and large claws) plods through a town and destroys buildings, cars and streets as people run and scream.
The remains of an alien being are wrapped in plastic and we see glowing lights from inside the wrapping; the screen goes black and we later see the police officer who was investigating the body dead and he's missing several of his teeth. Something crashes into the planet and the explosion and shockwave kills an alien (we see the body on the ground) and throws another through the air and into the water. An injured alien crawls through mud while gasping and reaches another injured alien that dies (no blood or injuries are shown). An alien asks a jewelry store clerk for gold and she eats it (we see the alien's skin glow gold), the alien inspects the clerk's mouth for gold teeth by sticking her fingers with long nails into her mouth and then melts a tray of gold. An alien collapses and many rock monsters crumble to the ground; the alien revives.

Two teen boys punch each other in the face until another teen stops them. A teen boy tries to break another teen boy's wrist, but it won't twist, and he then head-butts the boy and he falls to the ground dazed (the victim's head is apparently very hard). Two teen girls tell another teen girl that they are cutting her out of their group and one girl cuts a photograph then stabs it into a wall with the scissors.
Five teens see the future and the destruction of mankind; we see ashen bodies and they crumble when they are touched as an evil entity walks with a giant monster that destroys the area. Men on a fishing boat are tossed around in a heavy storm and when they dump a net filled with fish they find a body (we see the body is discolored and decayed); a police officer remarks about the odor of the hold where he investigates the body later. We hear a TV news report that two fishermen were found dead.
A teenage boy causes an explosion in a mine, the wall crumbles causing several teens to be thrown to the ground including one that was standing at the top of the wall (no injuries are shown) and we see glowing coins behind a "glass wall" that another teen chisels out with a pick.
While investigating an alien vessel, five teens hear noises and passageways close trapping them inside; one teen is grabbed by the ankle and dragged by the long arm of a cyborg (she is not harmed) as the others yell, "Kill it." Security sirens blare in a mine and several teens speed away in a can chased by security vehicles; two teen girls are pulled into the van as it moves along a dirt road and a teen boy jumps onto the roof (we see it dented in) and then climbs inside uninjured. A man's giant face is seen moving along a wall of tiles in an alien vessel in several scenes (like he is inside a computer).

A CAVEAT: We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and some of our early standards were not as stringent as they are now. We therefore need to revisit many older reviews, especially those written prior to 1998 or so; please keep this in mind if you're consulting a review from that period. While we plan to revisit and correct older reviews our resources are limited and it is a slow, time-consuming process.

INAPPROPRIATE ADS? We have little control over ads since we belong to ad agencies that serve ads automatically; a standing order should prevent provocative ads, but inappropriate ads do sneak in.
