Four high school students end up together on detention and uncover an alternate reality video game. Assuming the identities of adult avatars, they enter the jungle setting of the game and try to survive and return home. SEX/NUDITY 4 - A teen girl in a woman's body is annoyed because her character in a video game is wearing a crop top and shorts in a jungle (we see cleavage, bare abdomen and legs to the thighs throughout the movie). A teenage girl poses for a selfie photo (we see her bare shoulder and bra strap). A teen girl wears a crop top that reveals her bare abdomen and cleavage.
 A man and a woman attempt to kiss but they miss each other's lips and we see their tongues sticking out; then they nearly kiss again but they are interrupted and they kiss properly later. A teen boy and a teen girl kiss.
 A teen girl in a man's body hugs a woman. A man tries to hug a woman and they miss each other, and then walk away awkwardly. Two men hug and another man points to the crotch of one of the men afterward implying that he has an erection (we do not see below the waist). A man and a woman confess their feelings for each other (e.g. "I like you," "I'm fully into you"). A teen girl in a man's body performs mouth-to-mouth resuscitation on a man.
 A man makes a comment about another man wanting to have sex with someone. A teen girl in a man's body looks at another man and says, "Now that's a man right there." A teen girl tells another teen girl, "You're a babe." A character says, "It's huge," and another character says, "That's what she said." A woman is told that she has to go flirt with two armed men to distract them; she is then instructed on how to flirt by a teen girl in a man's body. A man tells another man, "That girl is into you" and they talk about what would happen if they kiss. A teen girl in a man's body remarks about having a penis and calls out to her friend to come and see it (we do not see it). A teen girl in a man's body says that she wore a bikini to school one day because her boyfriend likes to see a little flesh.

VIOLENCE/GORE 5 - A giant hippopotamus comes out of a river and eats a man standing on the shore (we see the man's legs sticking out of the animals mouth, but no blood is shown); the man then falls from the sky and lands hard on the ground, alive once again. A woman holds her side and says, "I'm hit," as we see a bloody bullet wound and she disintegrates into a splatter of blood; she then crashes to the ground from the sky, alive again, and lands on top of a man. A man eats a bit of cake and after a few moments explodes; he then falls from the sky and crashes through a food kiosk and onto the ground (he says, "Ow"), alive once again. A man falls out of a helicopter and lands on the ground where he is chased by charging rhinos and trampled; he falls from the sky and is caught by a man in a helicopter who brings him on board safely. A man is pounced on by a panther and it roars in his face, and then bites him (off-camera); he falls back out of the sky landing hard on the ground. A man is stung by a mosquito (he is allergic) and falls to the ground barely breathing; another man performs CPR and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation on him until he revives.
 A man holds a gun to another man's head.
 A hippo chases four people through a forest and we see its large teeth and saliva strands when it opens its mouth. People hear drums beating as a missile shoots between them; they then see many men on motorcycles with weapons approaching them and they run while the bikers shoot and fire missiles at them. A man opens a basket and a large snake rises out of it, and it lunges toward a man and then toward a woman; another man catches the snake by the head and holds it as another man snaps off its fangs (no one is harmed). Motorcyclists chase four characters through a crowded bazaar and a man fights with several of them exchanging punches and kicks and throws (one man's face is slammed into a pile of raw meat on a table and another man's neck is snapped) until a gun is fired in the air and a smoke canister is deployed (they all escape). Sharp spears shoot out of a wall and toward five people as they walk through a passage; sharp blades slash across the passage as they go through (no one is harmed) and crocodiles jump up toward them as they cross an opening on a narrow board. Five people take off in a helicopter and they are shot at from the ground; the chopper is struck and loses altitude and it is chased by many charging rhinos until a passenger climbs out of the chopper to fix a damaged piece. A man is surrounded by leopards with sharp teeth. A woman walks gingerly through many slithering and hissing snakes; she is bitten by a snake and bursts into a bloody splash before falling back to the ground, alive again.
 A man climbs a giant statue and pulls a glowing stone out of the structure; the man glows and one of his eyes goes white and his skin becomes gray-tinged; we later see the man being followed by a vulture and bugs skitter on and around him (a millipede crawls out of his shirt and into his ear and a tarantula crawls on his hand). A man opens his mouth and a scorpion crawls out and onto another man's neck and stings him; the man yelps and falls off-screen. A man disintegrates into a mound of rats that skitter away.
 A woman dances and fights with two armed men and kicks and punches them (we hear bones cracking) until they fall off-screen and a structure collapses on top of them (no blood is shown). A man pushes another man off a cliff killing him; the pushed man falls from the sky and lands hard on the ground alive again. A woman jumps into the air and kicks a motorcyclist off his bike (we do not see the aftermath) before he shoots another man. Motorcyclists chase several people and a woman dance fights with them kicking two people off their bikes; the woman is dragged behind one motorcycle for a short distance but is OK. A man throws a boomerang and it comes back to blow up four motorcyclists (we see four flashes and the bodies disappear in a flash (there's no blood).
 Four teens choose avatars in a video game, the system sparks and smolders, one teen unplugs the unit but it continues to glow and the teens are each transported into the game; we see them disintegrate and get sucked into the system where they fall from the sky and land hard on the ground as their chosen avatars. A teen boy yelps and is startled when a squirrel screeches. A man yelps and ducks when he hears a creature screech overhead. A man speeds on a motorcycle and is chased by several panthers; the man lays a burning perimeter around the cats and encircles them. Four people are alarmed at their own appearance after being transported into a video game world; on teen girl in particular, who now inhabits a man's body. Four people jump off a ledge and fall into water below (they all yell on the way down and cough as they get out of the water). Two men slap each other across the faces and one is thrown hard into a rock wall (no damage is shown). A man climbs through trees but falls to the ground when he is startled by an animal on a branch and the man falls to the ground (he's OK). Men walk through a forest using machetes to hack through foliage. An elephant thrashes its head and throws two large panthers into a stone wall (they fall limp). A teen boy smashes a video game system with a baseball bat.
 A teen boy places a video game cartridge in a system and we see from outside his window as the room glows (we do not see the boy again). A decorated box glows and we hear sounds of drumming in a teen boy's room as he sleeps.
 A man threatens to beat up another man. A man is shown with gray-tinged skin and after confronting a teen boy who was standing on the sidewalk, he goes into his house that has fallen into ruin. A teen girl talks back to a teacher and uses her cellphone in class during a quiz; the student is given detention. Two teen boys are given detention after they are caught cheating. A teen girl is given detention after arguing with her gym teacher that PE is pointless. A teen boy accuses another teen boy of getting him kicked off the football team. A teen boy says that another teen boy could have gotten him expelled from school. Several people argue in several scenes about what they should do. A man in a video game talks about a curse that must be lifted before four characters can leave. A man tells a teen boy, "This world swallows up kids like you." A woman tells her teen son not to forget his Epi-pen (we understand that he has allergies. A man talks about another man's "diminutive stature." We hear about a sacred jewel that must be retrieved and return to a statue to save a village. A man yells, "I would rather die." A man yells while being carried on another man's back, who runs very fast. A man says, "I'm having a coronary." A character says, "We all could die." Two men argue about their friendship and one says, "I'm not cool enough." An African-American man asks, "Am I still black?"
 A man says, "I gotta take a leak," and asks another man, "Would you show me how it's done (the man is a teen girl in a man's body). Three men urinate in a forest and we hear trickling. Two people spit out a drink saying that it doesn't taste good. A man says, "I thought I had to puke."

LANGUAGE 4 - 1 sexual reference, 6 scatological terms, 18 anatomical terms, 18 mild obscenities, name-calling (freak house, hard core, suckers, lamest, stupid, living garden gnome, annoying kid, dumb, judgie, self-absorbed, killer of men, insane, nerd, nerds, lunatic, metal head), exclamations (holy ahhh..., yes queen, oh no, whatever, what the..., oy vey), 13 religious exclamations (Oh My God, Jesus, Oh God).

SUBSTANCE USE - Two people drink a cocktail and spit it out (it tastes bad), a man drinks several cocktails and acts drunk later.

DISCUSSION TOPICS - Friendship, cheating, self-reflection, courage, trust, heroism, sacrifice, fear, doubting oneself.

MESSAGE - We actually only have one life and shouldn't waste it.
