A rebellious young woman (Lindsay Lohan) who repeatedly gets herself into trouble, is sent to stay with her grandmother (Jane Fonda) in Idaho for the summer. Her mother (Felicity Huffman) hopes that the no-nonsense matriarch will be able to whip her into shape and make her realize that if she doesn't end her self-destructive behavior she will end up in even more trouble. VIOLENCE/GORE 5 - A woman with a baseball bat strikes a man a few times, he groans and falls to the ground, and she then threatens to demolish his car. A young woman with a bag of fish strikes a man with the bag and yells at him. A woman yells at a man, she strikes him repeatedly while he is driving and then again when they are stopped on the side of a road.
► A woman trips and falls on the floor, hitting her face on the floor and we see her with a bloody lip. A young woman cries and bangs her head against a wall. A young woman wakes up screaming when she thinks a young man is trying to take advantage of her; he jumps up and hits his head on a wooden sign.
► A woman sorts through several large knives trying to choose one which she can use to kill her husband. Two young women throw toilet paper rolls at another young woman.
► A young woman and a boy (perhaps 11-years-old) argue, they struggle over a lawn mower, they end up wrestling on the ground and she makes a couple of remarks about him being aroused.
