"One of the 50 Coolest Websites...they simply tell it like it is" - TIME
Death Becomes Her | 1992 | PG-13 | - 2.4.2
Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn are actresses obsessed with staying young and use a magic potion with strange results. Bruce Willis co-stars.
SEX/NUDITY 2 - One exposed rear end and a scene where a woman wears only a bead necklace to cover her breasts. No frontal nudity.

VIOLENCE/GORE 4 - The characters attempt to kill each other off in violent ways, such as choking, pushing down stairs, driving a car off of a cliff and using a shotgun. Special effects make it a cartoon-like experience.
LANGUAGE 2 - There are curse words sprinkled throughout.
DISCUSSION TOPICS - Murder, mortality and death, and the loss of youth.
MESSAGE - When we become so obsessed with aging that we make our lives miserable, we're not really living anyway and we're unable to enjoy the rest of the years we have left. In other words, getting older sure beats the alternative.
CAVEATS
Be aware that while we do our best to avoid spoilers it is impossible to disguise all details and some may reveal crucial plot elements.
We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and older reviews are not as complete & accurate as recent ones; we plan to revisit and correct older reviews as resources and time permits.
Our ratings and reviews are based on the theatrically-released versions of films; on video there are often Unrated, Special, Director's Cut or Extended versions, (usually accurately labelled but sometimes mislabeled) released that contain additional content, which we did not review.
Mufasa: The Lion King - 1.4.2
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 - 1.3.3
The Piano Lesson - 3.5.4
Homestead - 1.5.4
