VIOLENCE/GORE 8 - Lots of explosions, lots of fights with punches, kicks and sometimes with blood. A man's nose is rammed into his brain and there is blood on his face as he dies. Two men pull needles out of their hands. A man pulls out a fishing wire embedded in his mouth. A man sets another on fire with lighter fluid. Two attempted rapes: once the rapist begins fondling a woman through her clothes and talks about raping her, and another time he knocks her unconscious and begins taking down her pants. A corpse is trapped in the landing gear (no blood); the corpse falls many feet to shatter a car and we see his face through the windshield. A plane crashes through buildings resulting in deaths and bloodshed. A man is thrown through glass and then decapitated with a pile driver. A man has his arm broken and is impaled during a fight (some blood). A man has his neck broken with some blood on his face. We see brain matter when a man is shot in the head. Lots of gunshots with lots of spurting blood and squishy sounds. A corpse with blood on the chest. An arm is left hanging in cuffs when a corpse is taken down. A man is stabbed in the ankle with a hook.
LANGUAGE 8 - About 25 F-words, many scatological references, a few mild obscenities, some anatomical references, a couple of racial slurs.
DISCUSSION TOPICS - The military, prison, law enforcement, hijacking.
MESSAGE - All convicts aren't bad guys.
